Discharge thoughts please?

5 days ago i started once a day very pale and light pink spotting when i wiped. 2 days ago there was a teeny of red and today i have brown. But only on wiping and it's only been once today.

AF due this weekend...

Is this likely pms? Or implantation?

I'm hoping for implantation....... but I'm a negative thinker like "I'm not that lucky".......

And now i wiped and a bit of red.... feeling very disheartened right now... x

TheOneRach, I am sorry you are feeling disheartened right now. I am in the same exact position as you, except mine began on the 17th and period is due the 21. I was hoping it was implantation. But today it got a little red, which makes me think its now the start of my period. It is so damn frustrating. I feel like my body is playing tricks on me with all this super light barely there spotting suddenly. ARGH. Seriously so damn annoying.

Today, I have decided to eat comfort foods for lunch (which for me is eggs with mushrooms and french bread) to cheer me up.

I can't figure a few drops of pale pink... turned brown... then a streak of red... but AF not due yet...

I'm trying to chill out. But inside I'm so down, hoping i am due my bfp but i just know my luck is crap 😔 xx

And now I'm back to a very faint brown... barely there at all really...

When i got the red streak, i did have a bowel movement so could that have irritated my changing uterus? Why brown and mucusy discharge only when i wipe?

I'm just going round in circles here!!! I want to curl up into a ball under my duvet and hide away for a few days!!! Xx

I feel for you. It SUCKS. I think when you have a bowel movement it helps pushes out CM, which is why you tend to see it more after that. I am feeling a little down. But did some other things to be proactive. I looked into acupuncture near me and will call to book an appointment. Bought fertility vitamins for me and dh. Ordered a fertility book and a clearblue ovulation kit so I can actually figure out the exact time I ovulate! A little crazy I ordered all these things at once I know lol. But I like to feel like I'm taking control of things.. or at least attempting to help improve things that are not in my control. It is so frustrating as I feel like my body is playing tricks on me. Why does my spotting have to be so ultra light this month leaving me feel confused, ups and downs for several days? Cant I just have my normal spotting so at least its not like I'm in limbo. Getting my hopes up and then down etc.

Anyway, hope you find some other comforts to cheer you up. I wish the weather is better!

The weather today is truly awful, we were going to head out for the day at work but instead we are in the house catching up on paperwork and odd jobs... passes the time though in a constructive way! Xx

Mamabear12 just think though... WHAT IF we get our BFP's......... just think, what IF..... please keep me informed every step of the way between now and finding out either way! Xx

True, must try and stay positive. However, I think I am out, as when I wipe I see slightly more spotting. I have not had any more spotting go on the panty liner all day so far...but when I wipe after going to the toilet there is a definite increase so now its like the start of my usual spotting if that makes sense. ARGH!

Wish my fertility book would at least arrive today. Keen to do some reading other then from online.

How are you doing? Anymore spotting or is it now clear? Have you had spotting before?

Brown again now... but still only very slight and only when i wipe. nothing like what I'd expect before my AF is due and it's not developing to an actual period blood. Period is blood blood, and clots and I've no clotting at all. I've minimal cramps too, my pms cramps are horrendous crippling double over or lie down in shiny kinda horrendous and never a week before my AF... now it's only very small twinges lower abdomen, kinda cramping but barely. It comes and goes the discharge, maybe once or twice a day.

Yes, I can def see what your saying...that is def not the usual spotting. When will you test? Are you waiting until AF is due? When I wipe now, mine is looking like its increased so will probably turn into the dreaded AF. But it was barely anything the last few days.

I'm thinking of testing at the weekend... i got a bfn yesterday when i tested early 🤦🏻‍♀️ mine is still barely anything. It's not even every time i wipe... my sister asked if it could be a light early period..... it's so far groom being period blood though... but i guess i can't rule it out

Congratulations!!!! How exciting! Good to know, that sometimes this mysterious spotting really can be implantation bleeding! In my case, it was just spotting and period came full force.

I just knew something wasn't right. I've never even tried for a baby before, let alone being pregnant... so i had nothing to compare it too... i just knew it wasn't right. And now, here i am.......... I'm in compete disbelief to be honest though. I'm kinda scared I'm going to wake up from this dream soon xx

Just enjoy it :) I still can't believe my first time pregnant, I actually had a missed period for a week and managed to wait on testing! I wanted to wait until I returned from holiday to test with my dh. I was visiting my parents for the week. This is very much my first time really trying, as the second time again we got pregnant straight away so was not really like trying. This time its now cycle 3 so I understand the trying part of it. I am really hoping I can get pregnant this month, as my other two dc are getting older. How did you tell your partner? My first two times I did not do anything special. If I am lucky enough to get pregnant a third time, I will try to tell him in a fun way.
