ive been on the pill (cilest) since i was 18. I decided to come off the pill when i was about 28, and immediately after coming off the pill i got pregnant. This was an unwanted pregnancy and so i had a termination.
A year later I met my partner, and i went back on the pill. Last year we decided to start trying for a baby, and so i came off the pill. i became pregnant first attempt, but unfortunately I had to have a termination at 22 weeks due to complications.
we are trying again, and Iam not on the pill anymore, and am not ovulating- ive been trying for three months now with no luck. my periods were out of whack, (after termination my period was 8 weeks late, then 6 weeks, and now 4 weeks) so my cycle is slowly becoming back to normal. But, i think coming off the pill really boosted fertility for me- after all, I got pregnant twice straight after coming off the pill. The pill i remember in the days leading up to ovulation, my periods were sore etc and I knew i was ovulating soon. But now im not on the pill, i do not get these symptoms anymore in lead up to periods.
I am tempted to go back on the pill to come off it again to boost my fertility to get pregnant, but im not sure if thats a good idea. has anyone been in my situation before?
