Hi All, I'm trying to get to grips with my cycle and struggling. Today my cervix feels low and closed. I'm also getting brown discharge as if I'm about to start my period.

Is this normal when about to have a period? If not whereabouts in my cycle would this indicate I'm at?

I know when you are not fertile it’s low and closed. During your fertile period, which is usuallY from day 10-7 of your cycle give or take a few days if you check your cervix it will be high.

Thanks @Mamabear12

I'm on CD 24 so it should be low and closed right?

My coil fell out so I'm really not wanting to conceive right now. I'm basically tracking it to not get pregnant

Yes that sounds about right. But I would use condoms or pull out method just in case as better to not take any chances.

If you're using the rhythm method to avoid pregnancy, you have to track your cycle REALLY closely to avoid pregnancy, and it only works relatively well if you're quite regular.

To track closely enough you also need to be using opks and tracking your bbt imo. Otherwise, you're just guessing...
