Prenatal vitamins?

Just wondered if anyone has taken prenatal vitamins while trying to conceive? I take regular multi vitamins and a b12 supplement anyway.

If so, any recommendations?

A bit of background, I have endometriosis and we're struggling to conceive naturally. Sad

If we have no joy by the new year, I'll have another laparoscopy (sp?). My last one was about 4 years ago. From what I've heard, this could increase our chances.

Yes, I take the pregnacare conception ones. My GP said vitamin D was important too (along with everything else) some I’m taking them whilst ttc.

Thanks for the reply @LatteLover12 Smile

That's interesting to hear. If it's not rude to ask, how long have you been taking them?

About two months now. I was on the pill until the middle of August but started taking them on the 1st I think.

I’ll keep taking them till I get my bfp.

I had a miscarriage a few years ago and when I was ready to try again the GP recommended them. xx

I'm really sorry to hear that Thanks It sounds promising that the GP recommended them. It's not like they'll do any harm!

We're at the point where we're willing to try anything. I saw that pregnacare had a few different vitamins (incl conception).

Wishing you the best of luck on that bfp Smile

Following with interest....

Just ordered some from Boots. They're 3 for the price of 2 at the moment, so I though I'd give them a go Smile

I took the Boots own version of Pregnacare - same stuff much cheaper!
I don’t believe it has anything a good multivitamin doesn’t, but I wanted to feel I was doing all I could.
