Appreciate the photo isn’t great but I can see a very faint line. I’ll be getting a better test in the week but wanted to get a bit of advice now?

Sorry, I can't see anything there. Might be the photo though

I can see a line. Pink is good!

How many DPO? Any chance of a FRER?

Chocolate45 · 16/09/2018 19:04

The photo really isn’t great but in person it is quite obvious and is definitely pink/red. I’m 27 dpo, AF due any day now but this is my first month TTC. I came off the pill in August so not sure if AF will come on time. I did have quite bad cramps and back pain last week and my nipples have been really sore. Other than going completely off chicken I don’t have any other symptoms. I took an early response on Friday and it did show a very faded pink line. I took it out of the casing so not sure how reliable it is. The line came before I took it out, it was just so dificult to see. I think I’m just being impatient and need to wait and see.

I think it sounds promising, especially with the symptoms! Fwiw I've got pregnant straight away after stopping the pill three times (including now - think I'm about five weeks; can't believe it!) so there is every chance :)

Oh wow, that’s so exciting. Have you taken a test yet? I just didn’t think it would happen so quickly @BirthdayKake

I can't see a line on either test I'm afraid :(

Just to let you know, coming off the pill has a really fun side effect where your body starts throwing pregnancy symptoms out left, right and centre.

I didn't ovulate my first month off the pill, but I got pregnant in the second month. Fingers crossed for you :)

I've seen a few threads with photos of shadows on ics but clear positives when tested with a frer. I've had the same, nearly discounted ic as negative but a shadow line in certain light. But a clear positive on a first response. How many days past ovulation are you? My ic looked similar at 11dpo.

AF arrived yesterday which was disappointing but feels good to know that I have had a proper period after coming off the pill. Forgot how painful they are. I’m now going to be using the Flo app to track ovulation and start taking folic acid. Now to find the October bus post.
