Oh my god. My period isn't even due for another 5 days! I only took it because I just haven't been feeling right for a couple of days. I haven't told my husband yet. Think I'll wait until my period is late and then retest with him by my side.

That looks like the line I had a few days before I was due when I was carrying my twins. Just saying!

Cane off the pill in May but we haven't been trying a lot. I have a few intimacy issues so I don't have sex often, I'm better than I was thiugh.
I took this test because I've been feeling weird, I expected a BFN because it's so early.
We expected this to take much longer....i am ready for this but not sure hubby is!!!!!

Super normal, I had my first baby through IVF and I still had the OMG what now feeling after I saw the two lines.

Completely normal! Your brain goes into over load and you can't think straight. I went in between happy and scared frequently, then it was exciting! Congratulations x

Absolutely normal! Doc's told us it would take ages to get Pg due to health issues etc, first time after coming off contraception positive test! It was a bit of a panic too, but all settled quickly! Congratulations again!

Thanks all. I am still in a state of shock. I am too scared to believe it's true so I'm going to wait until after my period is due and re test. Or should I go to the GP now?

I had a heavy period last month so I'm now wondering if I had a chemical and the positive test is residual from that?

It's 25 days since my last period. Is this not too early to get a BFP?

Firstly congratulations!
Secondly no, it's not too early to get a BFP in CD25.. its classified as 'norm' to ovulate on CD14 so CD25 would make you 11dpo. A common time for getting a BFP. I got mine at 9dpo and was a super faint line, but I OV on CD18 that month. I'm now 28 weeks :)

There's a suggestion that your more likely to have non-identical twins as you get older (you're not old obviously, but from a biological point of view) because you body is more likely to fire out two eggs at the same time. I was 36 when I conceived mine.

Hubby has bought some more tests so we can be sure.
However, he brought home Waitrose own brand rather than a FRER
Should I wait a few days until my period is due to retest or should I just test in the morning?
Anyone used this brand?

I would give it a few days; I didn't get lines on other tests until about 13dpo but got lines on a frer from 9dpo. You'll only feel down if you take another and there's no line so either do another frer or wait a few days amd do one of the other ones.
Huge congrats though; that's a clear positive!!
