Sorry if this overlaps with any of the many threads on here. Could see lots of threads offering moral support which is great. I am also specifically looking for tips to help with conceiving my first baby at the age of 39...

So far I have visited a private fertility clinic and had all the checks and everything has been given the all clear. Follicle count is good for my age. I have also been keeping fit, have lost a stone so my BMI is now 23.5 and have cut down alcohol to just the odd wine at the weekend. Diet is very healthy and lots of fish & veg, and I am taking folic acid. My partner knows about the 48 hour rule for sex during fertile window to allow for better quality sperm and not to rest the laptop on his lap!

Are there any other tips you have found worked for you?

I forgot to add - needless to say I am up to speed with my cycle and tracking morning temperature etc.

I did the smeg plan with mine, propped my bottom up for 20-30 mins afterwards, cut down on caffeine and alcohol, yoga, pregancare conception tablets. For my second I took complete vitamin b complex tablets and reckon that helped! Some people on here use convieve plus (not that I'm sure what it actually is Wink )
