TTC - one positive one negative test? Confused!!

Thanks for reading my thread and I’m hoping you can help us!
We decided this summer we wanted to try for our first baby and have been trying for 3 months. My period is 3 days late and I tested yesterday at around 8pm and got a faint positive with a clear blue test! We were over the moon with this however tested again the following morning when I woke up and it was negative?!
Both tests were clear blue out the same box!
I have felt dizzy recently and got low stomach aches around where my ovaries are and this morning felt slightly nauseous however I haven’t been sick.

Just wondering if anyone has received a positive and then a negative on the same brand of test? So confused!

I am new to mumsnet too so it won’t let me post a photo of my positive test for 48 hours but once that is up I will post to see what everyone thinks?
It it’s definitely 2 lines but slightly faded

Try a first response test :) a positive is a positive in my eyes , as long as you're not bleeding all will be good. Yes please post pic xx

I really hope so!! Just unsure why the second one was negative :( I’ll post the photo as soon as it will let me!

@everly94 I had the same happen to me. Unfortunately mine turned out as a chemical and I MC. The 1st line positive, next one was positive then the text in the morning was fainter. Which is strange with First morning wee.
The next day I got a complete negative no line at all then I MC.

Really hope yours gets stronger and sticks around x

So sorry to hear that! I’m waiting until tomorrow to test again but this was my result last Wednesday? I’m pretty sure it’s positive but like I said earlier, the day after I got a negative :/
What do you think to the test?

Did the line appear within the timeframe? It looks a bit uneven in colour. I'd also expect a darker line if you did it when your period was late. That's not to say that it's not positive though. Fingers crossed for tomorrow's result xx

Yes it came up straight away that’s why we got so excited! Hmmm I’m doubtful but we shall see!

@everly94 I can definitely see why you saw it as positive but yes the line is a little uneaven. Could be just a faulty test but excited for you to see what it looks like tomorrow. Keep us posted.. fingers crossed xx
