How long did it take you to get pregnant after coming off the mini pill if anyone has experience of this?

Hi Sharon, I'm jumping on as I'd quite like to know this too! I came off cerelle on the 2nd September. I'm having horrible side effects, awful headaches. Hoping to conceive before the end of the year. Good luck to you.

I'd also like to know! I came off cerazette on the 21st August and started a really light period on the 10th sept. Really hoping we catch quickly!

How old is everyone? I'm 35 TTC #2. My son is 8.

@FrancesV83 I'm 28 TTC #1. Is tracking on Ovia but don't really want to start OPKs and all that jazz yet but I'm super impatient!

I came off the mini pill last December, had my first period in January. We ttc’d on and off from February and I got my BFP last week! So, 7 months.

I would say that my cycles were a little all over the places during that time. It takes a while for your body to get back to normal.

@jq28 I'm trying to steer clear of temping and ovulation sticks at the moment! I'm hoping that regularly dtd will be enough or I'm likely to get obsessive about the whole thing.

Hey everyone. I came off the mini pill the middle of August and took a few weeks to for af to show. I wasn't going to track as first time trying to get pregnant but it's become a bit obsessive!

First time age 34 it took 5 months.
Second time age 36 it took 2 months.

Hi, I conceived first month trying after coming off cerazette. Daughter is now 18 months

First time ttc when I'd been on cerazette for a good 10 yrs plus took 6 months.

Second time took 2 months. Had been on it about a year that time round.

I read lots of horror stories on the internet but my experience was the complete opposite. I conceived faster than a few of my friends who were ttc at the same time that had my been on the mini pill.

I came off in July and had all the awful symptoms you've mentioned above. They only lasted until my first period which came about 4 weeks after I stopped. I've been regular since Then, and had a positive OPK this month because I was curious!

It's amazing how different it is for everyone! I'm hoping to conceive pretty quickly as time is ticking (I'm 35 my husband is 40) and I would also like a summer baby as my son was born on the 1st January and washing and getting out and about was a nightmare!
