Question about temperature charting

Just wondered....after you ovulate and your temp goes up that would be evident any time of the day wouldn't it? The reason I ask is that I woke with a temp of 36.9 but when I took my temp 10 mins later it was 36.4 and then this evening after running around after ds it was 36.1
Surely once you ovulate and your temp rises that would be evident all day wouldn't it and it wouldn't drop?

Your temp goes all over the place all day. So you have to take it when your body is in the same 'state' each day. The only way to do this is to measure first thing in the morning before you start pushing your temp up and down.
