Hi
I'm sorry for your loss Flowers. Best of luck with ttc. In general to be the healthiest you can be:

  • if you smoke; give up
  • if you drink; give up or at least cut down until pregnant and then give up
  • if you're overweight try to get back to a healthy weight
  • try to eat lots of fresh food (fruits, veg)
  • start taking folic acid. Or if you can afford it, 'pregnacare conception' which has the right balance of vitamins, but the folic acid is most important
  • lots of water

You need folic acid and vit d supplements (which are found in pregnacare amongst other prenatals). Ideally you'd be taking them daily for 3 months before ttc... they won't help you get pregnant faster, but will prevent malformations in a growing embryo and foetus.

You would also ideally be your healthiest self to set your baby up for the healthiest possible life. I'd recommend having at least 6 of your five a day. It's time to start adulting.
