Hi guys,

I am under the hospital due to secondary infertility. I am currently on my first cycle of clomid and been having no end of internal scans to check when I ovulate etc. I got a positive opk on 2nd September and had to go for a blood test on Monday 10th roughly 1 week after ovulation . I've just had my results saying my progestrone levels were 35.2. What does this mean? Could I be pregnant?

Any help would be gratefully received.

Many thanks

It means you ovulated and could get pregnant. It is not an indication of whether you are (or aren't) pregnant. Only a test for a different hormone (hcg) can tell you if you're pregnant. Most people who do get pregnant will have a detectable amount of hcg by about the time their period is due.

Thankyou for your reply. My cycles have been all over the place for a while now and I'm on clomid to regulate ovulation so hopefully If I'm not pregnant by next week i should get a period.
