Pre-seed/conceive+ etc... help!!

Hi all,

Looking for some good advice on fertility gels! Been TTC since Feb with no luck so me and DP bought some pre-seed today. I'm currently on CD5, my cycles are normally 30-32 days long. I do use apps such as flo and glow to track my cycle but they both come up with 2 different ovulation dates and I'm just stuck with them. I am using ovulation sticks this cycle too but I don't have much faith in them!

So does anyone have any advice on using Pre-Seed etc??
Like when should I use the lube?
How many times should I use it in a cycle?
And any other handy tips.

Also feel free to share success stories as I'm sure many ladies in the same position as me would love to hear them 😊 thanks!

I've used preseed for one cycle and that was the cycle I got my bfp (my second month trying). Obviously it could be a total coincidence but I would certainly use it again. I used it every time we dtd around ovulation (approx 5 days before and just just after for good measure).

I've heard really good things and have seen a few posts around it on here with really good reviews. Good luck xxx

I got pregnant my first month trying Conceive plus, although I miscarried. I’ve used it for 2 cycles since my MC and hasn’t worked yet, so I’m not actually sure it all it’s cracked up to be.

Not going to stop using it though, as I don’t get EWCM and I tend to get a bit..ahem...dry...with all this TTC business!

It can get pricey if you don’t get PG quickly so I only whip mine out on my fertile days good luck x

I got pregnant on my first cycle of trying using pre-seed. I read reviews and thought I’d give it a whirl and it worked. I obviously don’t know if it was a co-incidence but I’d recommend it. I just used it every time we dtd during my fertile week.

@Ells0204 sorry to hear about your mc and wishing you all the luck in the world😊 I tend to get very dry too so I'm hoping if anything it might just make sex more enjoyable than it already is, anything else would be a bonus 😀 yeah I think using it Just on fertile days is a good shout as it's like 18.50 in boots! Also what CD's do you ladies normally ovulate on and how long are your cycles?

Sorry in advance for this question.. but do you ladies put much of the conceive plus "inside" before you dtd? Or just use it on the man? Don't want to waste it if not much is needed 🙈

Hi I was trying for 8 months and got my BFP the month we started using preseed. I used it every time we dtd and put it inside me and outside on him. I also started taking inofolic on my 7th month ttc so who knows what worked or if it was a bit of both or total coincidence. But I'd def recommend it and use it again

Iv not got much to add to this atm but we started trying for a baby 3 weeks ago and have used preseed twice in the last week;
I'd recommend it! It's a nice lube anyway! I think the whole syringe thing is just a means to an end and if you can have a laugh about it why not we used way to much the first time that's for sure haha.

Fingers crossed! Met my friends 9 day old baby today and makes you want it even more.

We were ttc for 6 months, first month using preseed and we got a BFP.

We used it every time we DTD that cycle, (every day for fertile window)

Not sure if it was a coincidence or not that i got pregnant. Definitely a coincidence at 10 weeks when we found out it was twins.

Loving all the success stories.

Me and DP are going to start using it in a few days and have sex every other day until I have covered all potential fertile windows according to the apps I use!

We normally DTD every day but many say it's more effective every other day so we're trying that, not looking forward to it as we are so in the habit of doing it everyday, we both have erm... very high sex drives 😂

Have you been taking vitamins? We used Conceive+ for every month of ttc but it still took 6 months. The month I started taking Pregnacare Before Conception is the month we got pregnant.

@ttctet ah really? Interesting! So many things have worked for different people it's mad! I've been taking folic acid since we started trying but may try some more vitamins if this doesn't work. Thank you😊xx

Hi I got pg in April but mc’d 5.5 weeks later. After three months of trying to concieve after that we used and got pg on first cycle of using it so cycle four. Only four weeks so will see how thing go! Good luck.

I brought conceive Plus off amazon on deal (The applicator ones) it came with 8 in a pack or something like that 🤔 Tried it on our 3rd month and BOOOM 💥BFP!!! Like others have said it could have been complete coincidence, but it obviously helped! I use to apply it 5 mins before the fun began and then that was it! 🙌🏻😊

Also everyone is completely different but my cycles also ranged between 30-32 days! I use to use OPK's which would usually come up positive around cycle day 20ish...! But the month we fell pregnant I got a random positive on cycle day 16!! 🤷🏻‍♀️ But maybe try and aim for mid cycle and see if it helps!

I was trying for 4 months, the 4th cycle was the first cycle using pressed and that was the cycle I concieved! I'm now almost 8 weeks pregnant.

I just used it every time we DTD, used the applicator, only needed about 1 - 2ml as a little really goes a long way! Applied it about ten minutes before sex, didn't want to kill the mood applying it right before, lol.
