Bleeding

I got my bfb last week and even had a bfp on a digital yesterday but this morning I started bleeding. This means it's over right? Should I go to the doctor?

Some people still have periods or bleeding whilst pregnant but it is less common. Personally if it was me I'd probably call the doctor or 111 and see what they say. Hoping it's not bad news for you x

Thank you; going to call the doc when it opens. So far it's been pretty light and has almost disappeared at the moment but I'm 3 weeks and 5 days/13dpo so thats too late for implantation bleeding right? Guess I'll need to wait and see; I've called in sick for work so going to take it easy today

They might be able to check your levels to make sure it's progressing? I had a similar experience two weeks ago, but the bleeding turned heavy and I had a chemical. If it wasn't for the super early tests we can do then I'd probably not even have known I was PG. I did a lot of reading when it was happening and it does look like many women have spotting in early pregnancy and go on to have a healthy pregnancy, it could just be that.

Thank you @fee1234 so far the bleeding has stopped but will just need to wait and see. I wish I hadn't tested to be honest; would rather just think I'm having a period than know it was a loss.

3 weeks 5 days you say? So 2 days away from what should be your period? Sometimes your period still 'tries' to come on time, especially in early pregnancy, so it could just be that. In this pregnancy I've had bleeds at 8 and 12 weeks, as well as spotting in between. Fingers crossed for you.

I've been stressing since last night as I have been getting strong cramps to say my AF is starting soon (different to what I've been having for the last 10 days or so) af due today or tomorrow. Clear blue test arriving today. X

@Ailsamolly thank you; I'm totally gutted to be honest. I wouldn't worry too much about cramps, I had them the whole way through my first trimester with ds. Bleeding has stopped for the moment so it's possible it was just spotting; will need to see how it goes today.
Period is due on wednesday; feel so silly for testing early.

I'm feeling the same way. Been really excited this weekend. OH I can tell is getting happier as the days have gone, same with me. I let it sink in. Now I wish I hadn't checked and just waited. It is my first month ttc and my curiosity got the better of me. Wishing us both the best of luck xxx

I had this, and turned out it was a chemical pregnancy :( but some people still bleed when they're pregnant! I had a couple of bleeds when I was pregnant with my DS.

The bleeding was very light and I only saw it on my underware when I went to the toilet. Now it seems to have stopped so maybe it's ok? Will need to wait and see... I'm 13dpo, my app tells me I'm 3 weeks and 5 days pregnant; could this be implantation bleeding?? Is it possible to have implantation bleeding after a positive test? My period is due on Wednesday so I'll need to see how things go...

@Amolly ok i think. Bleeding hasn't started again except for some brown spotting. Went to the acupuncturist tonight who said it all still looked good as far as she could tell so not to loose hope yet. How about you?

I had the same on and off until about 12 weeks, I had two early scans who confirmed all was well and no idea why I was bleeding - one occasion was really heavy too. I'm now 29 weeks and all seems good! Good luck!

@Prembabymum ahh good. Still lots of hope for you, I've seen a few people on here say they have spotted and bled a little and gone on to have healthy babies.

I did a clear blue and another test this afternoon both positive and 1-2 weeks. Still getting lots of cramp and running to the bathroom Every time I think af has shown up. Driving me crazy aha. Does acupuncture help relax ? I've always wanted to give it a try x

@Amolly I really hope so; it just didn't happen in my first pregnancy so its unfamiliar territory. Also it's such early days so things are still so vulnerable.
That's exactly how I felt with ds; it's a weird feeling thinking that af could turn up any time but knowong you're pregnant!

@Prembabymum ahh that's good to know thankyou. This is my first ever so I don't know how my body will react to it so I'm a little on edge with the what ifs...but I'm like that on everyday things anyway so it's not a new feeling aha it's a pain that they made the 6 day early detection. It's like they want us to get our hopes up.

Bleeding seems to have stopped this morning (fingers crossed) so hopefully it was just an implantation bleed. Ic tests still reading positive; a stronger positive but I know that doesn't mean anything really! Don't want to get exciting yet tho incase bleeding starts again.

Morning @Prembabymum good to hear :) we will have our due dates together :) I'd say that's a good result on one of those. I bet when you've passed your Af due date that will be brighter even more.

Didn't sleep well last night. Had mild cramp all night and right now I'd say there stronger (comes and goes). Hoping that it's just the pain and no bleed. Taking comfort in that it's happening to a few ladies and nothing has come of it.

Ah if we could only blink and be at the 12 week scan aha xx

No more bleeding since and test is stronger than yesterday, which I know doesn't meant anything really but it makes me feel better!

Got some meds from the doctor to try and help incase hg strikes again; woke up a bit nauseous this morning so I got the fear! Last time it was awful and these meds meant I could at least keep some water down!

@Prembabymum ah it's good to hear from you. I was worried for you. Good to hear it's stopped. I know what you mean with the tests. I almost bought more yesterday to make sure levels were still going up but I don't want to see that there not. I hope the meds help xx

I've still got af cramps on and off all yesterday and today. Still no sign of bleeding yet. Going to book an appointment with my gp possibly Friday or Monday. Taking pregnancy vitamins aswell now in hopes it will help. My OH already has children so now I'm stressing he's doing his best to reassure me that all is normal :) xx

I will try not to make this too long but through June I thought I was pregnant, took tests and all came back negative. Then on June 23 my period came for 2 days as usual.

On July 4th I had the worst pain ever in my right ovary and was unable to walk. Started bleeding next day. Went docs and they said burst cyst but having miscarriage too. Was so confused.

I stopped bleeding by the 8th July and miscarriage was confirmed on 12th. Scan 18 July which confirmed cyst with review for 4 weeks later. Between the 1-6 aug I had unprotected sex with my bf and on 14th I had my period. It was late by about a week or so due to miscarriage I assumed.

A week after that I had mild cramps in my womb till now. Had 2nd scan which I was told by gp later that week my lining in womb was slightly thickened and need another scan could be fibroids.

Since then my breasts got real sore from 1st sept. Iv started feeling sick and extremely dizzy every day and peeing alot too. 14th sept my period hasn't come. Tiny spotting in morning and that's it. Been this way for 3 days now. I keep googling symptom of fibroids but these don't match. I have taken pg tests and they have come back negative.

So I went docs today as don't feel myself. Asked him to read scan notes again and he read it states "no fibroids' just slightly thickened womb wall. Says he dont think fibroids just review in 8 weeks see whats happenig with uterus lining. I am so confused not a clue what's going on .
