Does this line look ok for 14dpo?

I think I’m 14dpo and got my BFP today (yay!)

Does this line look ok for 14? I am due on today and I thought it would look stronger by now, but it’s been a long time since I last used a pregnancy test (DS is 3.5) and I am worrying myself - I have a history of recurrent miscarriage so am a bit anxious.

Thank you in advance!

Looks like a great line! Congratulations!

Phew! Thank you! Still a bit in shock I think, I had a BFN on a cheapie on Thursday and only tested today cos AF hadn’t arrived. Totally surreal.

Thank you @LatteLover12 however I know from bitter experience it isnt always as simple as that but thank you even so! X

That’s you and me both then but today you are pregnant. Good luck! X

OP I have almost the same question, I’m 15dpo and got 1-2 weeks on the clearblue today and my first response at 14dpo (the test with the darker line) looked exactly the same. Congrats, fingers crossed it’s looking good!

@Mowglik those are two difference types of first response! But yes, lines look similar which is really reassuring thank you!

I’ve done another one today (crazy) and it looks the same, not darker but not fainter so I’m now stepping away and trying not to go mad like I did before. I tested every single day until I was 8 weeks and it was exhausting analysing every test every day.

@LatteLover12 Thank you!

I didn't even get a positive until 16dpo with my DS. And I totally get the worry, as I've had two miscarriages myself, but I don't think you can diagnose anything reliably from a hpt, other than whether you're pregnant or not at that moment in time!

whiteonesugar · 09/09/2018 09:03

I know you’re right, but all rational thought disappears when I see those two little lines!

I’ve just told DH I don’t want to be as crazy as last time and he said ‘we’ll see’ haha

I had the same at 13 and 14 DPO as they weren’t getting darker (now 16dpo) and was going mad - I tested in the evening rather than using fmu and had a hugely stronger line. Might be worth doing? Fingers crossed! Xx

happyasasandboy · 09/09/2018 10:09

A line is a line; congratulations!

In my case, I only ever had feint lines. I carried twins to term, but only ever feint lines.

whiteonesugar · 09/09/2018 10:39

Well this is today’s at the bottom so I am a bit more reassured now! And am stepping away from the tests! Thank you all xx

Totally understand I'm trying for number one this is my third pregnancy I'm stuck on 1-2 weeks on clearblue so am positive I am doomed. After losses it is totally different and an awful experience. Fingers crossed for us both xx

mowglik · 09/09/2018 14:20

OP you are right, the darker test was a quick response first response rather than the early one.

I’m trying to step away from the tests too, have one more I have to take so I can let me clinic know (this was an ivf) and then I’m done with tests!
