1st period post Erpc

Hi everyone
I had surgical management of a mmc (at 9 weeks) 5 weeks and 2 days ago. Baby had stopped growing at 6/7 weeks. I'm still waiting for my first period post procedure with very little sign of it coming. I've had negative tests since about 12 days post procedure.

Just wondering what everyone else's experience of this is. When did AF arrive for you? I'm desperate to get back to ttc but my body seems to be taking its time. I had a very regular 27 day cycle prior to this😕.

Mine came after about 6 weeks. I TTC straight away but mentally I wasn’t ready. Took us a lot longer to conceive than previous pregnancies but we got there. Fingers crossed it doesn’t take too long for you.

So sorry for your loss, I had surgical management for my 2nd miscarriage in June bled for a week or two, 12th of July had a heavy brisk loss was a shock and did not expect it, did have what looked like a fist sized jelly like clot that came away, spoke with the early pregnancy unit who said this can occur after surgery and as I'd had a negative pregnancy test it indicated the miscarriage was completed, 9th / 10th of August light red, stopped 1 day of brown spotting nothing then until this week, similar story. Xx

Thanks ladies maybe im being a little impatient. I will give it another week or so then go to see my GP if it doesn't arrive. We go away on holiday in 3 weeks so would like it out of the way by then ideally but guess I will just have to keep hoping it comes soon. To be fair I had 3 days of brown discharge 3 weeks after mc but definately didn't warrant calling it AF. My body is just probably taking its time to readjust xx.

I think I'm going to make an appointment with my GP this coming week to discuss how my period has been, I know period's can take some time to settle down but it has been worrying me and I do want to have more children. Xx

I had D&C procedure following mmc about 5 weeks ago and my period rocked up on Monday. I was worried it would takes ages as I hardly bled after procedure like people told me I would. I know it’s hard but don’t loose faith it will arrive and it will happen when your body’s ready I’m sure xxx
