Failed Ovulation

Hi everyone, need some advice. so last weekend I started getting ewcm and my opk’s we’re getting darker then Monday morning I had an almost positive opk, I didn’t manage to do another one Monday afternoon but by Tuesday it was lighter again and my ewcm had all gone. I thought I had maybe missed my surge & ovulated Monday afternoon however I can normally always tell when I ovulate as I immediately get sore nipples which I haven’t got. I don’t temp so I have no way of knowing if I have ovulated or not but is it possible for your body to gear up but then if not to actually happen? Monday was CD18 and I normally have longer cycles of around 35 days but acupuncture has been helping me reduce these. I just have no clue what’s going on 😩

I think it is possible op but my first thought was that maybe the surge was starting already by the time you did your next.

I imagine it's really frustrating not knowing for sure.

I found the month I actually got bfp I didn't notice any ewcm so I don't think you're out of the game until af shows up x

Thanks, I’m hoping I did just miss the surge and I did ovulate, just strange that I haven’t had sore nipples like normal. I used to get lots of ewcm and be able to tell exactly when I ovulated from symptoms but since having 2 miscarriages earlier this year my body just isn’t the same anymore.

It's amazing how the minute you start trying your body decides to totally change everything! Lol x
