This is a bit of a long shot but I love these posts so wanted the great eyes of mn to help me out.

I'm ttc#1, two previous miscarriages. Attached is a photo - bottom one yesterday and top one today. I'm about 8-9dpo today. Neither are fmu.

I think I can see a slither, though but better in person and I will test again with fmu in couple of days but can anyone see anything at all?

Not sure ic before so not sure how prone to Evaps they are and whether any 'line' should be darker at 9 dpo. No symptoms other than aching breasts on side and horrible metallic taste in mouth that came on suddenly, couldn't drink my water earlier and keep checking to see if Gums are bleeding as that kind of taste!

TIA Smile

Sorry can't see anything but 8-9 dpo you'd be lucky to get a line even with fmu

sprinkleofsunshine · 05/09/2018 18:20

Thanks- I do realise that these look completely blank now ha, just so sure I can see a slither of something in rl.

That's good to know, will test on few days with fmu.

I can see SOMEthing in photo 1 but I wouldn’t like to contribute to any false hope. Re testing in a couple of days is the best thing to do. Good luck x

sprinkleofsunshine · 05/09/2018 18:30

Congratulations! They deffo look like positives? Did you test any earlier than 10dpo? And was that fmu?

sprinkleofsunshine · 05/09/2018 18:31

Thank you @RLOU30 Smile will do

Oh I'm definitely pregnant, 28 weeks now. Yes was fmu and no I didn't test any earlier I was trying to hold off for another few days but the cheap strips got delivered and I couldn't resist. I was flabbergasted when I saw a faint line so couldn't resist the first response to double check.

sprinkleofsunshine · 05/09/2018 18:43

Oh haha well in that case def congratulations! 😬

I know I said I wasn't going to test early this month but caved, would like to hold out to weekend now but not sure that will happen. Never mind just hoping if or when I am next it sticks!

I hope for you too. This one took 10 months to conceive after a miscarriage at 12 weeks.

sprinkleofsunshine · 05/09/2018 19:03

Oh gosh I'm sorry to hear about the m/c. Glad you have a sticky bean now. Both of mine have been very early within days of finding out.

Eeeeek2 · 05/09/2018 20:31

Thanks my first miscarriage was early too, now I have (almost) 2 children. So what I'm trying to say is stay positive if you can and soon you'll be elbow deep in nappies and plastic/noisy toys.

sprinkleofsunshine · 05/09/2018 20:42

@Eeeeek2 Grin thank you. Hoping it's third time lucky!

I would be wary of relying on the IC's, I think there is a dodgy batch about as several of us have found that they weren't giving accurate results (there are a couple of threads on it). If you can I'd wait till AF is due and go for a FRER.

sprinkleofsunshine · 06/09/2018 17:03

I did read that actually @Sunshinegirl82 thank you!
There are definite lines on 2 with one I took this morn but can't work out if just evap lines.
I'm not a fan of Frer but about to pick up some Superdrug ones as I hear they're pretty good. Will wait until atleast the weekend but prob won't be able to resist testing with the ic inbetween.

OP posts:
RLOU30 · 06/09/2018 17:18

Evaps only truly appear when the test is dry which would occur over 10 mins after testing. FRER are v reliable but imo anything other than clear blue is good. Hope you get on well this weekend x

sprinkleofsunshine · 06/09/2018 18:47

The 'lines' are appearing as the colour is moving so before they are dry. Superdrug didn't have their own so I got a frer. Ive only tried them once but couldn't get on with the indent line on them maybe this time it will be different. I'll prob end up doing One sat and keep one tip af due next week.

I caved and took another ic tonight, attached pic. Again that was before it's dry.

I think I can see something

sprinkleofsunshine · 06/09/2018 19:00

This is the 4 tests I have done over the last few days with the one I just did at the top.

And the other photo is the boots one I just took against an old positive boots one I had from my cpBlushSad

I guess I'll just need to wait now but I'm feeling positive I really hope I'm right x

I can see something. I'd be doing a digital! I've always found the words reassuring!

8DaysAWeek · 06/09/2018 21:06

How do you have the self control to not do a FRER?! Fingers crossed this is it for you. Looking promising :)

sprinkleofsunshine · 06/09/2018 21:19

Thank you both.

I don't actually know Grin you've got me onto the idea now lol. My dh isn't here at the moment to stop me constantly poas so maybe I should take advantage HmmGrin
