OPK help

Hi, so TTC number 3 but still breastfeeding number 2. DC is 10 months old. I have had my first PP period last month. I ovulated bit started bleeding at 6DPO. So far I'm on cycle day 24 and yesterday I started noticing EWCM. I didn't have any OPKs so I bought some today.
During the night I noticed some real sharp stabbing pains on my left side that lasted about 5 minutes. Today I've had more EWCM but the OPK is negative?! Not even close to a positive? TMI picture of CM attached

You may not of caught the LH surge. Try mid afternoon around 3pm. Try not to drink or urinate between 12/3pm and your wee should show LH (if present)

Oh - and BD every 2-3 days to cover yourself for if there is a release of an egg

I've just had this .. OPK still negative 😢
It's not as clear as the last lot

Try hold your wee from now until 3 without drinking anything (it will only dilute your wee) and then test again x

Just did one and negative

It depends on your cycle and what your body is doing at moment I guess.

I'm breastfeeding baby number #1 and would like ttc also.

I've read you can have your period but not ovulate or sometimes your cycles take a bit to settle down.

I've been tracking with opks for four months and find cycles are longer and I'm not ovulating until close to cd20 ( before baby it was more or less around cd14)

I start getting ewcm 2/3 days before ovulation. When you google it says it can be different for different women so some get it Day of ovulation, day after or just before etc. You just have to get to know own cycle/ what your body does.

Good advice re testing in afternoon too.

Thanks for your reply, I'm just so confused . I checked my cervix this afternoon and it's now firm high and closed ?? I literally have no idea. I hate feeling like im constantly in the TWW x

I detected my surge this morning so 3/4 after first getting ewcm.

I forgot all the waiting and worry about trying to ovulate and conceive.

I'm not sure about cervix as I've not done that myself before as a indicator.

Still got my finger crossed for you x

I have had mild cramping today and more EWCM I took my last OPK and it was darker so will test again tomorrow x

Ok so I just did a pregnancy test and got this??

Even more confused but going to put it down to shitty tests! I took another pregnancy test and for a faint line, so I did an OPK and it was blazing positive and then another pregnancy test negative and OPK fainter so I'm assuming I ovulated lol and I'm not pregnant

Pregnancy tests only pick up hCG so chances are your pregnant but to early for a clear result

I did another test this afternoon and he was bfn x
