Too soon for these symptoms?

I'm am roughly 8dpo and I'm experiencing tender breasts, more prominent nipples and small bumps on my areolas.

Is it too soon for these symptoms? I can't tell if my breasts have always looked like this and I'm just imagining new symptoms.

I've also been feeling really gassy the last few days. Not sure if that's a symptom of early pregnancy or not.

Aargh! This tww is torture Grin

My body mocks me every month. Sore boobs, sickness and then af shows.

Fingers crossed this is your month op.

Thanks @Aprilshowersnowastorm

This is our first month ttc so logically I know pregnancy is unlikely but I still can't help symptoms spotting Blush

If you’re getting symptoms then you would get a positive hpt, as they’re caused by hcg.

@smurfandturf So if it's too early to take a test then it's too early for symptoms?

Yes. I was driving myself mad analysing every little symptom and that’s what my doctor said. You need the pregnancy hormone (hcg) in your body to be producing the symptoms. If hcg is in the body then it would show up on a hpt. So there’s no such thing as pregnancy symptoms unless you have a positive test.

Saved me a lot of anxiety and worrying tbh

@smurfandturf
My experience was different - I knew at 8dpo I was pregnant, had the symptoms sore boobs etc (which I don't normally get)

However, I tested negative until the day AF was due.

smurfandturf · 05/09/2018 11:30

Sore boobs after ovulation are caused by fluctuations in oestrogen and progesterone.

It’s impossible to feel symptoms unlessthe embryo has implanted, as you are not yet actually pregnant.

I’ve been there myself.

Feeling sick in the morning - I must be coming down with something.

Feeling sick in the morning when ttc - ooh it’s an early symptom.

You end up driving yourself mad. That’s why there’s so many posts with people shining a light on a bfn or changing the contrast on a photo asking if there’s a shadow.

Got my BFP yesterday. Not sure if it was symptoms of pregnancy or just a coincidence. I'm only 3w+4 so trying not to get too excited.
