Hi ladies

It’s been a while since I posted on one of these forums, I was taking the more relaxed approach of just letting things happen! I’m now getting impatient!

I’m 28, have a ds who is 11 months old (we want our dc close together), he was a surprise conception after a few drunk nights without any contraception, so a pretty fast conception by all means. I had a chemicle pregnancy in February, and we were excited before the loss so decided to start trying from then. My periods became really irregular after that which hasnt been ideal! We are now on cycle number 8!!! This month is the first since Feb af had arrived on time so fingers crossed this month is the month!

I feel like if it’s not I may need to look into ovulation kits again, and possibly some sort of tablet or something to help things along. Anyone have any suggestions? I just want so badly to be pregnant!

It's very very average for it to take a year or more.

I know it feels like forever, but 8 months is very normal to ttc...

I am well aware it's easier said than done, having ttc for over two years, but try to find fulfilment in other activities and keep yourself busy with your baby.

You had a successful pregnancy before, which is the best indication it will happen again.

I'm very sorry about your chemical too. They can be so soul destroying. Be kinder to yourself.

Hi @kate yeah I know it can be a long process it just frustrating when you are doing everything you can and it’s not happening. I’m so thankful I’ve had one baby and I almost feel like I can’t get frustrated at the wait for the next one but it is hard. Sorry your journey so far has been a long one! X

Hey

Are you tracking your cycles, have you been using OPK's to check when you're ovulating ?

Mumma100 · 05/09/2018 18:01

Hi @ReginaPhalange89 I had been using OPK for the first 2 months but as I said above I became very obsessive and spent a fortune on test, so after that I was just tracking with my app, entering symptoms and temperatures and using that to know when I was ovulating
