I am currently 8 dpo.
I ovulated 9 or 10 days before my period is due. Is that normal? As people say it's normally 14 days before.

The average tends to be 14 days but some websites say otherwise. Have a look on how you can lengthen it. ask.naturalcycles.com/customer/en/portal/articles/2825142-what-is-the-luteal-phase-

@Bloodylegoeverywhere ThankYou! I've been looking into it and it's saying that some people do ovulate that late but then normally I ovulate 15 days before period...

If you normally ovulate earlier in your cycle, your af will be late as the time between ov and af is fairly static for an individual.

Normal luteal phase (ovulation to period) is 10 to 16 days and yes it's fairly static so if you ovulated late, your period will also be late.
