I’ve been on the mini pill for 2 and a half months. On 23rd August I was supposed to start my period and I experienced very light spotting. The same day I decided to stop taking the mini pill.

I have not received my period yet however I had slight cramping (wasn’t like a period cramp it was very light) and for 2 days I experienced light spotting when I wiped.

I am now 12 days late and I have taken a pt that came back negative. I’m not sure whether coming off the pill has anything to do with this or am I pregnant?
Since coming off the pill I have been using condoms and have twice used the “pull out” method (silly I know)

Are you wanting to get pregnant? Why did you stop the mini pill?

I stopped taking it because I don’t want to add extra hormones to my body. I feel so much better in myself not being on hormone based contraception. I am not trying to get pregnant

You don't always get regular periods with the mini pill so you wouldn't really know when a proper period was due. It could just be the pill affecting your natural cycle
