Post miscarriage Can I have ovulated before a positive opk?

I recently had a mc at 7 weeks just overb2 weeks ago. Were now ttc before next period shows. I've been taking opks so i dont miss our chance. I have pretty regular periods normally and since having my first baby my body's pretty good at telling me when im ovulating (cramping and discharge). Anyway ive been testing twice a day since the bleeding stopped and yesterday had all the tell tale signs of ovulation i usually have so we did the deed that night. I've taken an opk late this morning and its came back with a line nearly as dark as the test window the darkest ive had which i know is still a negative. I'm now expecting when i test later on again in the evening for it to build up to a positive. My question is which should I trust more. My body or the stick? Could my cramping be an early sign im about to ovulate and that I'm not actually ovulating?

This is also my first 'cycle' since miscarriage. I used OPKs and they showed I ovulated a week later than normal. My signs supported this. However miscarriage can mess up your cycle for a while and OPKs can be inaccurate during this time. For me the cramping tends to be a day or two before I ovulate. I also have ewcm for several days before and this disappears about one day after ovulation. Sounds like you're BDing at the right time, so would keep going until ovulation symptoms stop and OPK is negative. Good luck!

Thanks littletipple. Sorry to hear about your miscarriage. I've just done another opk this evening and not sure whether its positive or not. What do you think?
