Hi

Just wondering if the morning after pill will work as I have just worked it out and I'm sure i ovulated over the weekend. Can't get Ella one until tomorrow! Condom split on Friday! Any advice appreciated. Thanks

It can be taken upto 120 hours after intercourse. HTH. Good Luck.

So taken up until Wednesday night (depending on the time you had intercourse)

It can be taken 5 days after.

I think I ovulated Thursday and took it Saturday after a condom split, but I took it within a few hours of the event.

I figure the chances of being pregnant are slim anyway but no harm in making sure.

I took it on day 4, had already ovulated between the deed and taking the pill and it didn’t work for me unfortunately. The way it works is to delay ovulation if that hasn’t already happened and if you already have then it makes your womb inhospitable so a fertilised egg is unlikely to implant properly.

You can also have the copper coil fitted as a means of emergency contraception, up to five days after sex.

Thanks but I had that fitted a few years ago and suffered terrible bleeds on it, didn't agree with me x

I fell pregnant and unfortunately I take a medication that causes really bad birth defects so I made the decision to terminate. Hope everything’s okay with you xx

Right so it's been 7 days since the condom split and 3 days since I took Ella one, I have lots of creamy white discharge is this normal? Slightly panicking now!
