Cramps after 7DPO

Hi ladies, I've been having cramps and weird stomach twinges daily since 7DPO. At times, they're really quite painful.

I don't really want to get my hopes up, as we've been TTC #2 for 2 years (our DS also took a similar amount of time to conceive).

In saying that, does anyone know if implantation and early pregnancy cramps are pretty painful at times? Also, full disclosure- while I'm here, I'm also weeing more and I'm more knackered than usual.

I'm currently 9DPO so it's too early to test yet, but I can't remember whether I had cramps like this when I was pregnant with my son.

Also I'm not due AF until 9th September, if that makes any difference.

I'm in the exact same situation as you and i have had all of the symptoms you've had, exactly how you described it. I'm current 7dpo. I've had painful cramps in my lower stomach and also in my back. Hopefully it's a good sign for us OP! AF due on 10th September. I just hope it's not my mind playing tricks on me. When are you thinking of doing a test? Good luck and make sure you let me know Thanks

Oh and I had cramps just like this when I was pregnant with my first son!

Thanks @mommabear7. I don't know whether to feel reassured or not! I'm pleased that someone else is in the same boat, but that means I'm starting to feel a bit more cautiously optimistic which is also scary!

I think I'll probably do a test on Wednesday, which would be 12DPO for me, with a FRER. It's still five days before AF is due, but I'm not sure I could wait longer than that!

When are you planning on testing?

It is scary, I couldn't agree more! I feel quite reassured as I didn't know if it was normal for the cramps/twinges to be painful. For me it was like I was coming on my period.

I've just bought some first response tests which says you can test 6 days early which will be Tuesday for me, so going to do it then. If I get a BFN I'll retest when my AF is due! Fingers crossed for you Thanks

Thanks @mommabear7! Best of luck to you too and let me know how you get on! Thanks
