Implantation or spotting on Cerezette

Hi all

I'm just wondering peoples experiences of spotting or getting pregnant on cerezette? And interested to see what anyone thinks might be happening to me

I've been on cerezette for about 2 month now, after having lo in May. Today I started spotting, not loads just a few times. Me and Dh dtd 7 days ago so I'm worried and excited at the Same time - Could it be spotting even though I'm on a pill I'm not meant to bleed on? Or could it be implantation?

Mini pill can cause erratic bleeding or spotting as well as stopping periods. If you have taken it correctly you are unlikely to be pregnant.
P.s. the pill can make your cervix more friable which means more prone to bleed a little after sex

I've been in cerazette for over 8 years and still bleed every month

Sorry if I’m being insensitive but implantation is a really strange thing to think of if bleeding while on contraception. Are you hoping to become pregnant?

I bled on cerazette really randomly. Lost lots of weight while on it though so loved it anyway ;)

The reason I thought Of it is because I had implantation when I became pregnant, I thought it was a period but wasn’t. And it was similar to this so that’s why it’s crossed my mind. Not trying but it would be a lovely surprise if we were

Spotting with cerazette is so common as to be normal. It is also often sporadic ie without pattern. I can't from my position say that you dare definitely not pregnant but it is miles more likely that the bleeding is secondary to the effects of cerazette, sorry.

You do often get breakthrough bleeding on that pill. Ive just come off it after having 6 years on it. I didnt have any periids at all but every 6 months or so i had some bloody wipes that did look like imantation. But wasn't. You cant implant on this pill as it makes the womb inhabitable and makes the cervix unfavourable too. Thats how it works. Ive been off it 24 days now but still no bleed.
