Coming off the pill experiences

I know the answer to this is that every woman is different and realistically I just need to be patient but my odd cycles since coming off the pill are driving me mad. It frustrates me that the official advice (from my GP and online) is that it should just take a couple of months. What are other ladies’ experiences? Wondering how much longer it’ll be before mine become more typical. Hate waiting so long to ovulate.

I came off the pill 8 months ago. Previously had regular cycles (every month but can’t remember how many days).
Cycle 1: Nearly 4 months before AF. No idea if I ovulated.
Cycle 2: 46 days. Ovulated cd30 and had a chemical pregnancy.
Cycle 3: 42 days. Ovulated cd30.
Cycle 4: 40 days. Ovulated cd28.

On every cycle I’ve spotted from about 8dpo until AF arrived, even during my chemical pregnancy. I never ever spotted before. Each time it’s getting my hopes up that it’s implantation bleeding.

I’ve also tried vitex, raspberry leaf tea, evening primrose oil, B6. And I’m on conception supplements (folic acid etc).

Any advice/experiences would help. Thanks in advance!

For me, my cycles were over the place:
C1 61 days
C2 103 days
C3 61 days
C4 43 days

Then got pregnant with DS (now 10 weeks old) the next cycle. I don't know how long that cycle was going to be obviously, but I did get a strong BFP on CD40ish.

Not really answering your original question, but wanted to show it can happen without regular cycles.

Good luck Smile

Also just to add, I had tried agnus castus and some other supplements to regulate cycles. The cycle I conceived I only took folic acid. Could be complete coincidence of course, but that was my experience.

Thanks so much for this info. Making me feel more positive.

Just wish I knew why I keep spotting. Guessing that could be another post pill settling down thing too...

After my 7 day break I forgot to take my pill and then took it for 4 days, after that came off it completely, had a 3 day withdrawal bleed and then was back to my normal cycle, had my period recently and am now ovulating x
