Ovulation stick confusion

Hi all ! Took an ovulation test today just a cheaper one as I can't afford clear blue, i was wondering what result this was as I find these strips a nightmare, does this result mean I'm close to ovulation ? Thankyou xx

I would do another tonight, then late morning and afternoon tomorrow - if it’s getting darker ovulation should be approaching.

Took another this morning and virtually no second line ! These strips are so confusing !

You’ve likely missed ovulation. I don’t know about the lines getting darker as you approach ovulation, but ovulation tests are only positive if both the control and test lines are of equal darkness. Ovulation then occurs 12-24hrs later.

I’ve found these tests easier to interpret and more accurate than clear blue. But others will disagree.

I’d get into BD anyway, just in case 😉

According to my Ovia app I'm not in my fertile window for another 4 days and only finished my last period 3 days ago so doubt I've missed ovulation! Just wish our bodies had a way of telling us exactly when ovulation starts 😂 and yup BD everyday at the moment lol 😂 xx

What time did you test the second time, they say not to use your first morning wee for ovulation tests, the best time to test is between 10am and 8pm with the optimal time being around 2pm

I've been using the Glo app and you can take a picture of the strips and then see them all together, this really helps to see if the line is getting darker

I've been doing mine around 3pm, but my line today still seems lighter than yesterday, so confused ! I definitely shouldn't have missed ovulation as my fertile window isn't for another 4 days and I'm not due to ovulate until Friday! I'll try the glo app ! Thanks cx

Your LH fluctuates up and down throughout your cycle. While that's a nice line it's not close to being positive so I wouldn't worry about it and keep testing.
