Just started the 2WW- anyone else?

The 2WW has just started for me. Depending on the different apps I use, AF could be 7th- 10th September.

Anyone else on the same wait as me & fancies keeping me sane!?

I've said I won't think about it, which lasted all of a few hours, then I was back on here! Confused

Morning still feeling sick also very tired. Probably just a bug as only 6 DPO. Luckily working today so that will take my mind off it. Trying not to give into temptation and testing 2 early.

missrose0110 · 30/08/2018 16:33

Hi everyone! How's everyone doing?

The past couple of days I've been starting with a cold, sniffly nose etc. Today I woke up and the glands in my neck have been hurting so bad all day. Does anyone know if this could be a sign of pregnancy? I've heard colds often can be.

Thanks in advance :)

rachyrach300 · 31/08/2018 07:07

I think you actually be coming down with some sort of viral bug @missrose0110.

I feel like my boobs hurt but again this is just prob in my head. I could be anywhere from 8dpo to 6 dpo as this is my first proper cycle since being off the pill and I ‘feel’ I O last wed or thurs but my app says I O on Saturday! God it’s driving my crazy already how am gunna cope for another week!! Anyone else feels as crazy as me! Xx

Caffeinatedbrewofjoy · 31/08/2018 09:10

Yup, feeling crazy! Slightly sore boobs, still have weird metallic taste, no cramps, bit of back ache and my moods are all over- my partner pointed this one out to me, apparently I'm up and down like a yo-yo! Having very vivid and weird dreams. Want to test, but I'm scared to! If I'm due on the 6th, what would be the earliest I could get a positive? Just, you know, in case I crack! Terrified it'll be negative Sad oh - and I've completely gone off chocolate! I adore chocolate. Totally "meh" about it at the mo!

Gosh this is not fun. Glad I've got you ladies on my phone to type my ramblings to! Smile

Prembabymum · 31/08/2018 09:45

Im only 3dpo and have been having little flutters/bubbles/light tugging feeling in abdomen. Anyone had this?
I have had my usual cramps and nausea that i get post-ovulation every cycle.

Thanks!

Thismummyruns · 31/08/2018 11:02

Before I found out if I was pregnant with my first I felt under the weather with a sore throat but it was winter so figured it was a bug. My periods were regular but I wasn't waiting for AF and had almost forgotten to test when it didn't show on time. The only reason I knew to test was how sensitive my boobs were, literally had to carefully put bra on/take off due to the pain. That was my sign back then.

Not sure how helpful that is to any of you.

I'm only 5 DPO so no signs as yet but we only DTD once so unsure if that was truly enough

Prembabymum · 31/08/2018 11:40

Thanks @thismummyruns so far boobs are ok but its very early days. Im ttc number 2 but with ds I was far more casual and it happened pretty quickly so I've no idea if these symptoms happened then! Its such a mind game!

missrose0110 · 31/08/2018 13:19

@Thismummyruns that's how I'm feeling now, under the weather, sniffly, tired, headachy and slightly sore boobs. OH hugged me yesterday and I could've cried because of the pain in my boobs, that's encouraging. Fingers crossed for us all x

PetraRabbit · 31/08/2018 13:33

I'm in the 2ww too! DH was away at our best time this month but it's not impossible, so I'm still considering it a 2ww. In my experience (2 pregnancies and 1DC) no symptoms at all is the most hopeful thing you can have so this month I'm hoping for no pregnancy symptoms. If I start getting sore boobs or cramps that will be bad news!

Veganmedic · 31/08/2018 16:29

No symptoms for me although only 3dpo so super unlikely anyway. Just a big ball of stress with my exam next week, definitely not testing till after that

Ailsamolly · 31/08/2018 19:10

Hi could i join please. Af due on the 11th. Symptom spotting all crazy like at the moment. Ttc my first and this is my first cycle of which we are officially trying. Did a test today and it was negative... no surprise there aha I know it's too early but the temptation was just too much. Had cramping on and off for the past 2 days. Feeling a little nauseous today. Feels like the next 2 week's are going to pass so slowly aha

earlybirdhasanap · 31/08/2018 20:00

Argh. I'm feeling massively fed up today. Af due on Tuesday and I've got a massive case of pms.
I'm googling threads from a million years ago and symptom spotting when I know that it's all pointless. How is Brenda's post from 2012 with no update ever going to help me?
I tested early (a lot) last month and promised I wouldn't this month so I'm sitting on my hands to stop myself going and buying a test.
Working tomorrow and then away for a couple of days to take my mind of it. I promised I wouldn't be like this this time round but here I go again.
Is anyone else the same?

Lelizabeth1 · 31/08/2018 21:10

Hello! ttc #2 and sort of cycle 2. i was on the pop pill and came off in june, I've only had one actual period. af due on 5th for me. im 8dpo today i think and already poas yesterday which was obviously too early. i couldn't help it! i may do another one tomorrow morning. is 9dpo too early??? im impressed I've only done one test so far this cycle. im a bit of a stick addict Blush

Thismummyruns · 01/09/2018 10:11

One of my apps just reminded me its 7 days until I should test... I don't need these reminders 🤦🏼‍♀️

@earlybirdhasanap Brenda's post from 2012, this made me chuckle 🤣

missrose0110 · 01/09/2018 10:51

Hi everyone, how are you all getting on?

@earlybirdhasanap hahahaha "Brenda's post from 2012" this is so relatable! I do this all the time lol.

I'm currently 8dpo and yesterday I was nauseous all throughout the day, and vomited in the evening EnvyConfused then slept for 12 hours straight. Either I'm coming down with a bug or perhaps this is a pregnancy symptom? I'm unsure, either way I'm taking today out to rest.

Fingers crossed for everyone on this post Thanks

AnnaKayL · 01/09/2018 11:59

Another one joining!

TTC #1. According to 2 apps I’m using, AF should be due next Thursday 06th/Friday 07th. Cycle length is usually 30 days. Symptoms spotting like crazy. Feeling nauseous, boobs have been really sore on and off since 7dpo, a lot of white creamy CM (sorry tmi!) and cramping. I’m really hoping AF doesn’t come next Thursday/Friday!! We can all keep each other sane during the wait! :)

LucyC10 · 01/09/2018 11:59

Hey ladies!
I’m on my third cycle TTC and unfortunately have experienced chemical pregnancies in my last two cycles.
I am trying to be a bit more relaxed about it all this cycle! I had a bit of cramping last night so possibly ovulation pain - so the dreaded two week wait begins! X

Ailsamolly · 01/09/2018 12:03

Morning

@missrose0110 I'm feeling a little the same. I'm about 5 dpo, I think, and felt nauseous yesterday and am feeling the same today.

Had cramp on my right side for the past 3 days so not a clue what my body is doing aha. It's possible I'm stressing myself out and causing myself to feel things that just aren't there. I'm just so nervous. Doesn't help that a friend has just found out she's pregnant.

Xx

rachyrach300 · 01/09/2018 12:26

Afternoon all!!

I had some boob and side boob/armpit pain yesterday but today nothing really. BNF on a test no surprise but not feeling hopefully at all! I’m between 7 to 10dpo and think I’m more 10dpo. Really don’t think I did it enough and when I do symptom spot it’s in my head. And actually feel upset that I’ve not got a positive tear yet. How stupid is that! It was a early test as well so I expected it to pick up as the valves are so low and if I was 10dpo Surely my Hca levela would be 10 by now! Anyway rant over! Sorry

@missrose0110 hope your feeling a little better.

Really hope next few days some of us get our BFP we all hoping for xxx

Caffeinatedbrewofjoy · 01/09/2018 12:44

I cracked and bought a FRER. Blush Trying to hold off using it... wishing everyone positive tests! Metallic taste in my mouth has pretty much gone, boobs still feel bruised, I've gone off chocolate totally Shock which for me is unusual! I hate waiting. But I don't want to waste £8 by using the FRER too early, but I reeeeeeally want to test!

Littlemisssunshine86 · 02/09/2018 06:38

Morning. How is everyone? So I cracked on Friday and bought a test no surprise it was negative couldn't help but feel a little disappointed

missrose0110 · 02/09/2018 07:57

@Littlemisssunshine86 don't be too disheartened, it may be a little early. Fingers crossed for you. When is your af due? Mine is Saturday and I'm trying to hold off until at least Thursday x

Caffeinatedbrewofjoy · 02/09/2018 08:43

Tested with an Asda own brand cheapy. Negative. Gutted! Sad I know it's early but I just.... meh. It would have been so awesome if it had finally worked this month! Never mind. I'll wait for my period and start planning for next month! How's everyone else doing?

earlybirdhasanap · 02/09/2018 10:43

How many days early were you testing caffeine and little miss sunshine?
Af due on Tuesday here. Going to test Tuesday or Wednesday morning.
I'm going away and have purposefully bought no tests so I can try and enjoy being away without testing, getting a negative and letting it spoil our two nights away without dc1.

Caffeinatedbrewofjoy · 02/09/2018 10:56

I'm due on Thursday 6th, so 4 days? I just feel like there would have been a smudge of pink if I'd been pregnant, plus I fancy chocolate again! I know it's early, but I just feel... out. Sad I guess I might not be, but I've had no cramps, no more headaches, no more metallic taste, and while my boobs still do feel kind of bruised, they usually would now in preparation for AF.

Have a nice time away Earlybird! Hope you return to a BFP! Smile
