Opk question

I’ve been ttc since February, with one mc in April. Decided I would try opk’s but a bit clueless. Should the line get progressively darker as you nearer ovulation? Also, once I get a positive does that mean I’ve already ovulated and therefore missed the boat? Thanks xx

@Mummytoboyxx I've only used those opks a couple of time but once the line is dark then that indicates the LH surge so should be just before ovulation 12-48 hours I think but maybe check on the packet. I think generally the line should get progressively darker but you could get a sudden spike I would think so not 100% sure about that but. I use the CB advanced OPKs as I find it easier to understand but they do cost a fair bit so I'm hoping I don't have to keep doing it for too much longer!

Thank you. I’ve also tried to check temp before but didn’t really know what I was looking for. Going to start again. Should I see some pattern between opk and temp? Xx
