5 days late, cramping and no period

Hi guys, my average cycle is around about 32 days I would say. I was supposed to come on around Wednesday just gone, I started cramping and slight lower back and and had a headache on the Tuesday so thought I would come on for sure. Nothing though, today I am 5 days late and I have been cramping on and off since Tuesday really and after Wednesday I keep feeling “wet” down below so I keep going to toilet as I think my period has arrived. Nothing so far though, it’s just like a watery clear discharge that makes my panties wet, sorry if it’s tmi!

I did take a clear blue digital pregnancy test today sometime in the afternoon but it said “not pregnant”, has someone experienced the same thing or can give any insight. This is now my 6 month ttc since coming off pill.

Thankful for any help ☺️

I'd try another brand of test. The cheap £1 shop brands have been the easiest to read and most reliable to me.
Clear Blue are known for giving false results.

Yeah I read up on them and don’t even know why I bothered. I have ordered some cheapies off amazon so should be here by Saturday. Figured that would be good time to test again, could it just be that the hcg levels aren’t very high to actually give a positive? I was trying to check my cervix today but then I read it doesn’t necessarily have to be correct, however when I pulled my fingers out had a lot of milky white discharge, no blood though and I am 6 days late today

Considering you're almost a week late for AF you should have enough hormone in your system to give you a positive if you are.

I find the digital tests have more failure rate because they're overly complicated.

Pink dye tests are preferable too.

It's hard to go on cervical mucus alone.

Have your periods always been regular?
If a late period is unusual for you I'd keep testing for the next few days.

Good luck! Update us too :)

Yeah I was thinking that too, I suppose there is always a chance that I could have ovulated later than normal. I have read that it could happen haha. Normally my periods are spot on, few instances it has been maximum of 3 days late but never this late, I will just wait for the cheapies from amazon or maybe even buy a frer on Friday.

Thank you and I will. Keeping both my fingers and toes crossed, about time if I am ☺️
