Omg this thread is so positive today!!! Congrats @MrsReader that's amazing!

MrsReader · 26/08/2018 12:00

Thank you ladies, it hasn't sunk in yet. I'm off to buy some FRERs to reassure me as that was a cheapy Tesco one!

Husband hasn't said much, I don't think he believes it! But i think he hoped it wouldn't happen straight away

MrsC87 · 26/08/2018 12:10

Congratulations @MrsReader
Fabulous news 🎉🎊

MrsC87 · 26/08/2018 12:12

Thankyou @BambiOnIce80 @NeverStopExploring @cupcakesandglitter
It's so nice to get advice! I know I can do a little more exercise, just by walking more, working at a desk 8 hours a day is not great for my health!
What is everyone eating more of specifically?
I've heard pineapple is good in the 2ww.

FivexFive · 26/08/2018 12:18

Hi all! I'm new to the site and this whole TTC journey! Just turned 30, stopped protection around March and this is my first cycle of 'proper trying'
Some really good news in this thread this morning :)

MrsReader · 26/08/2018 12:19

Thanks MrsC87 😄

MrsReader · 26/08/2018 12:20

Hi FivexFive 👋🏻

Delilah7 · 26/08/2018 12:25

@FivexFive hi lovely! Welcome.

@MrsC87 this month I've been awful at eating haha. Think it's comfort food from what's happened so my diets defo been off track this month. Now trying to get my fruit in a lot more. Not trying to change to much though as I fell before without changing anything! x

sunshine1987 · 26/08/2018 12:41

@MrsReader lovely news, congratulations!! 🎉 xx

FlapJackered · 26/08/2018 12:50

OMG @MrsReader !!!! That is so exciting!! Congratulations!!!!!!!! 🎉🥂🎉
I can't believe there have been two today!!
It makes me so happy, it's so lovely to hear positive news after my horrible bfn yesterday, it is nice to see someone succeeding as it gives me hope for next cycle!

Af still hasn't turned up for me and temp has gone up rather than down? normally it will dip for me on 12dpo (which is today)? I am trying hard not to read too much into it as I have had one cycle where af turned up on cd13 instead, also I think I would have at least had a faint line on 11dpo if I was pregnant. Af can be so mean sometimes holding out until you start to hope then crushing your dreams. The horrible witch! 😂😩

PinguPengo · 26/08/2018 12:54

Congratulations @ttcat32 and @mrsreader: such lovely news on the thread.

Delilah7 · 26/08/2018 12:57

@FlapJackered any cramps? I feel as deflated as you. Just want this cycle to end so I can start a fresh next but no signs of AF yet :(

shelly10 · 26/08/2018 13:02

@MrsReader congratulations!!! This is definitely a positive thread with lots of luck already! Two BFPs on day one 👏

@Crossfitgirl you're right we are rally close in cycle days, so hopefully we'll both be celebrating a couple of days apart. You mentioned yoga yin earlier, o do a fair bit of yoga/Pilates and then after reading about her on one of our earlier threads gave it a go last week. It's quite gentle and to be honest does do a lot of moves that you'd do at a normal class. But it's a bit more chilled and mainly does moves that focus on your mid section rather than arms and legs too. I've been taking the boots preconception vits since June and have got on well with them, so hope you do too. I think they just seem to regulate you a bit and calm things rather than having big hormonal flair ups (skin, mood etc) especially if that's PCOS related normally and the zinc and vit B6 in them is good for fertility and egg production. You can tell I'm a DR lol! Xx

Malichick · 26/08/2018 13:06

Congratulations @ttcat32 & @mrsreader Lots of positivity today let’s hope it continues :D

Lov3Rosie · 26/08/2018 13:10

@MrsReader Another fab news! Congratulations!! X

CrystalBlaze · 26/08/2018 13:22

Thanks for the new thread @Crossfitgirl, great idea!

Also lovely to find out more info about everyone.

I'm 5+2 weeks pregnant but would like to stick around if that's ok Smile

Firstly, CONGRATS @MrsR! Great news Flowers

Off to read the full thread now and catch up properly.

cupcakesandglitter · 26/08/2018 13:36

@Delilah7 I'm okay, I'm still on though so I can't 😭 DH is working today too so I'm sat alone, curled up watching TV like an old woman 😂 glad you got some though ;)

@MrsReader congrats!! Xxx

@MrsC87 I'm not picking up anything specifically, I'm just snacking on fruit all the time, always having salad in the house and I'm trying to not eat dairy when I don't have to (I have IBS so it doesn't agree with me massively). I think snacking is my main issue! It's so easy to buy something full of sugar x

Yes @CrystalBlaze please stick around!! X

babyxbee · 26/08/2018 13:38

TTC baby #1, cycle #1. At the beginning of our journey 😊

Delilah7 · 26/08/2018 13:39

@cupcakesandglitter I got some for ya girl ;) oh hun. :( can't wait tbh for my period to just turn up getting bored now of not knowing where I am xxx

Delilah7 · 26/08/2018 13:40

@babyxbee welcome hunny 😘

cupcakesandglitter · 26/08/2018 13:59

@Delilah7 I hear that!! TBH I don't know how I feel about trying this month. I'm really upset about the fact it pissed up on the first go... gonna see how I feel I think x

CrystalBlaze · 26/08/2018 13:59

I have now RTFT and see congrats are also in order for @ttcat! Amazing news lovely. I also see we have a @MrsR and a @MrsReader so apologies for the congratulations confusion!

StarFlowersSmile

Are you still feeling crap, @Chaos? I am feeling absolutely fine save from being knackered and having the most painful boobs in the world. I know it's early days but praying sickness stays away. Can deal with anything but loads of barfing.

Having said that I know I am really lucky.

And realised I didn't post any info - I am coming up 31, and got pregnant on our first cycle. So yeah, very lucky indeed.

Cake and Wine for all those who AF got and are otherwise having a tough time.

Have you tested at all @Delilah7? How many days is it since you suspected you might be ovulating?

@cupcakes I am also lazing about and MNing while DP is at the football. Going to drag myself to the gym for a bit shorly. Probably.

CrystalBlaze · 26/08/2018 14:00

And also welcome to all new ladies too x

cupcakesandglitter · 26/08/2018 14:13

@CrystalBlaze good luck! Although it's pissing it down here... not sure what it's like where you are, but don't let it bother you if the weather stops you from going ;) xx

Stormcloud0313 · 26/08/2018 14:14

So glad I found this thread!
My stats:
TTC: 1st time
Age: 30
Cycle: 1
DPO: 11
Really thought I was pregnant because of tender breast, headaches, and nausea but I have taken 2 pregnancy tests and both were negative. I am pretty sure AF is starting today.
