shelleybear0313 I've done 9 months of clomid before. It didn't work for me, but yes to the insomnia and epic mood swings! I'd never had boob tenderness before using it, but still get it in TWW even now. I also had the pleasure of night sweats around ovulation with clomid. All normal side effects of it, apparently 🙄

Delilah7 · 30/08/2018 07:29

@cupcakesandglitter I will Hun. It's not my usual doctor but apparently she's nice so hopefully she will have some good news to tell me. Or Atleast something to tell me so I don't think I'm going insane xxxx

cupcakesandglitter · 30/08/2018 07:32

@Delilah7 fx she's as nice as everyone says, and she can help you out!! How are you feeling? X

Delilah7 · 30/08/2018 07:37

@cupcakesandglitter I'm feeling ok to be honest which is abit worrying because normally when AF is on her way I feel awful and would expect to with the first period after MC. I'm just abit confused as I'm so regular and you're meant to bounce back better as it was an early miscarriage.... I'm awfully confused haha. How're you darling? Xxx

shelleybear0313 · 30/08/2018 07:42

Morning delilah7 thanks for the response, nice just having people to talk to. Just been reading through the thread and it's cheered me up a bit. I really need to stop testing and wait for Monday, obviously that's what my head says till tomorrow morning when I pop in the toilet to do another test! 🙈 how long have you been ttc? ☺️💖xx

Bambionlce80 good morning,! ☺️ it's actually nice to know I'm not on my own, brings my feet back down to the ground knowing it's the medication. I had nightmare sweats around ov too. So sorry it didn't work for you. What's your next step now? What mg were you on? This tww is finishing me off. Hopefully next month if af comes I'll be a little calmer and relaxed. 💖xx

Delilah7 · 30/08/2018 07:46

@shelleybear0313 we've all been there. It's very hard not to test! I was TTCing my 3rd month and got pregnant which ended start of this month. So I'll be my 4th month in September xxx

shelleybear0313 · 30/08/2018 07:53

Oh delilah7 I'm so sorry. 😢 I honestly don't know what to say. How are you feeling now? Xxx💖

Delilah7 · 30/08/2018 08:04

@shelleybear0313 oh I'm ok. These lovely ladies helped me through it a lot and I'm more positive than I thought I'd be tbh.xxxx

expatgirl17 · 30/08/2018 08:32

Hi everyone,

Just found this thread and would like to join. currently living overseas and haven't shared that we are TTC so would be great to join this community and have someone to share all the craziness with!
My stats:
Age: 32
TTC

Been charting with Natural cycles since early this year and actively TTC, in 5th cycle now. All went fine (albeit with no results) for first 3mths but now cycles and ovulation have gone a bit haywire - so frustrating but trying to stay positive!

BambiOnIce80 · 30/08/2018 08:35

@shelleybear0313, I can't remember my dosage (it was a good 5 years ago that they tried me on it). A close friend south of the border was TTC for 7 years with no luck, started investigations and found she had PCOS. They gave her 6 months of clomid and a lot was riding on it because they weren't eligible for IVF on the NHS. Cycle 6 on clomid came and they were dreading what to do next, but BAM - pregnant on the last clomid cycle! 😁 Keeping everything crossed that clomid does the job for you 🤞 🍀

MrsR16 · 30/08/2018 08:36

@shelleybear0313 I'm due AF on Monday too... there's a few of us currently on the TWW! Fingers crossed for you!

MrsR16 · 30/08/2018 08:36

Welcome @expatgirl17 😊

shelleybear0313 · 30/08/2018 08:44

Mrsr16, have you tested yet? Iv never felt this pregnant since I was pregnant, if I get a bfn, this Clomid has a lot to answer for! 😂😂 how cruel the drug that's supposed to help you get pregnant makes you feel pregnant. 🙈 fingers crossed we all get them two lines Monday. 💖

stormtrooperjulian · 30/08/2018 08:46

Does anyone use multiple apps for tracking? I usually use Ovia but downloaded Flo cos I was bored and wondered whether it would say anything different to Ovia.

Flo says that I O’d on CD15, despite me entering all my info that made me think it was CD16.... first +ve OPK on CD15, cramps and sore breasts and nipples starting on CD16. It doesn’t really matter I suppose, just wondering why it doesn’t match!

LondonKez · 30/08/2018 08:48

@expatgirl17 Hello! I'm also a newbie here and like you have joined to have people to talk to!

@Delilah7 good luck today!

shelleybear0313 · 30/08/2018 08:53

Bambionice80 do you have children? You sound like you have had a long road? I feel like a cheat if I'm honest, I have 3 beautiful ds but separated from there dad years ago due to violence, Iv now been with my dh 5 years and would love to give him a baby of his own. I feel like a fraud as I know there are so many of you wonderful ladies that would be happy to just have one munchkin and here is me with three complaining. I will understand if anyone would like to show me the door! Really do wish baby dust to all! 💖xxx

Delilah7 · 30/08/2018 09:20

@LondonKez it's tomorrow hun xxx

BambiOnIce80 · 30/08/2018 09:26

@shelleybear0313, no munchkins for me. Accumulatively 4 years of trying, but no luck yet. Sounds like you've had a pretty rough road - can totally understand why you'd want to give DP a baby of his own. Must be very frustrating when you know your body can do it, but it isn't happening 😔 My problem is more that lab tests say that everything is 'normal', but I still can't get pregnant. Very frustrating 🙄

I'd really like some clever biomedical engineer to develop the world's smallest go-pro so they could station a couple by my ovaries, maybe another couple in my fallopian tubes and one with a good panoramic view of my uterus for 1 cycle. They could film if an egg is being released, if the sperm are getting anywhere near it, if an embryo is being made and if said embryo is getting anywhere near the womb lining... in other words they could film what's flipping going wrong! 😂 Maybe an idea for a crowd funding page 🤔 Who's with me?! 🤣 😂 🤣 😂

Delilah7 · 30/08/2018 09:29

@expatgirl17 welcome lovely xx

@stormtrooperjulian I've only ever used flo and it got me pregnant last month. Xx

shelleybear0313 · 30/08/2018 09:41

That's just it bambionice80 my body used to work until that blasted doctor took away my tube! 🙈 now I don't even seem to be getting close! I try my best to be relaxed and some months I'm fine where as others I'm climbing the walls.

Have you had all the tests, tube cleared ect? Have you not been put forward for ivf? Or is that not something you would like to do? Iv definitely got no reason to complain, you sound like your road has been far tougher than mine. 💖xxx

BambiOnIce80 · 30/08/2018 10:08

@shelleybear0313 I had the full monty of tests 5 years ago - bloods, HSG x-ray and intrauterine ultrasound and still none the wiser 🙄 Then marriage broke down and got divorced after we'd been given the go ahead for IUI, so starting the whole damn process again with lovely new DP (a younger model 😉). Expecting to have to go through the full battery of tests again 😕 In fairness, I'm 38 now so something could have changed with hormone levels, etc. Time will tell - just need to be patient 🙄

And you're very much welcome to complain 😉 We're all on a tough journey for various reasons. Some journeys are nice and short, others not so much!

shelleybear0313 · 30/08/2018 10:25

Bambionice80 well done on the swap! 😂 I keep telling my dh that I'm going to trade him in for a younger model, I'm 36 him 42! 😂 although this is a lie and I do currently quite like him! 😂 he's spent the last week chuckling to himself as I may be slightly hormonal, one minute I'm chasing him round the house brandishing a knife and next minute I'm wanting showering with affection or crying! 😂😂😂 going to be quite sad Monday for him if we get a bfn as he's really convinced this is our month.
You say you have had all the tests but have they put a die through your tubes to check for blockage? My best friend had that and is now a mummy to two girls after years of trying. Xxx

CookieWaffle · 30/08/2018 10:45

@BambiOnIce80 I almost found a whole new use for my gopro then! 😂 Would love to know what my ovaries are doing right now with all this poking going on down there.

Also I definitely recommend the younger models Wink I'm glad at least one of us is young so conception has a bit of a chance!

BambiOnIce80 · 30/08/2018 10:48

That's the HSG x-ray @shelleybear0313. No blockages or anything abnormal there 👍 Someone I used to know had the HSG and found out she only had half a uterus with one fallopian tube and one ovary, which certainly explained why she was struggling TTC! She had IVF after that and now is a mum, so success story there 😊

I kind of wish they could find something wrong with me just so that I'd then know why I can't get pregnant! Being told there's no reason means you don't know how to fix it or if it can be fixed - total head 🤬!

Crossfitgirl · 30/08/2018 10:50

@stormtrooperjulian I use both flo and clue, they both predicted ovulation differently but they have started to sync a bit more now that I've been using them both for a while, and both seem to have adjusted to my positive OPKs.

@bambionice80 I'm down with that crowdfunding idea!!!

Welcome to the newbies, and people I have not said hello to yet! It's nice to see people on different journeys.

@shelleybear0313 what is the Clomid for if you don't mind me asking? Do you have ovulation problems? Sorry, I can't go back to read the previous page without losing what I've already written so apologies if you've already explained! I am debating going to my docs as I've previously been diagnosed with PCOS years ago, and have a really short luteal phase (8 days). However I've only been trying for 4 months, and my cycles have been really regular so not sure they'd do anything.
