Spoke to Drs at work (perks of being a midwife) clots most likely were stuck and waiting to come out, abit of "poking" 🤮 last night has released them. Still need to do my negative test to finalise the mc, but with this level of bleeding I'm pretty sure it will be negative. Will do it later.

Crossfitgirl...fingers crossed your oh will have reflected on events and make the move tonight🤞

cupcakesandglitter · 29/08/2018 16:08

@BabySquid yay another Flo user! And good for you for DTD that much 😂 I agree about wanting a baby making it better!! With weight training, is there anything you'd avoid doing? I've only just started getting into it (and only just started TTC) but I really do need to lose a lot of weight and tone up! X

BabySquid · 29/08/2018 16:14

@cupcakesandglitter if you're new to it, just start with a few machine weights, I'd recommend interval training too depending how fit you're feeling just 30 seconds on with a min rest. If you join a gym ask a trainer to show you a few fat burning exercises and also core exercises.

cupcakesandglitter · 29/08/2018 16:18

@BabySquid oh perfect, thankyou 😊😊 I've read so many threads of people saying how fast they conceived after losing weight compared to before! (That's not why I want to lose weight, but every little helps) x

AlwaysInJods · 29/08/2018 16:21

Thank you @sunshine1987

If it's any help @Crossfitgirl I heard that the digital OPKs are much more sensitive than the others... so maybe trust that? X

BabySquid · 29/08/2018 16:24

No problem @cupcakesandglitter
Yes I know what you mean, every little does help.

I'm currently on the TWW... and I honestly think the SSP is going to be out in full force this time! We have a wedding 3 days before AF is due and I don't know if I should test, or risk it?! (I also don't like wasting money on negative tests and usually wait till I'm at least 2 or 3 days late!)

purplestar9 · 29/08/2018 16:33

Thanks everyone, still don't quite believe it!
@ChaosMoon I feel pretty normal still at the moment to be honest, except some nerves! And I don't know what I want to eat most of the time! The one thing I'm really noticing is my muscles (mainly in my legs) are aching so badly!! I'm going to try and do daily yoga if I can now to keep them stretched out.
How are you?

Cat32tt · 29/08/2018 16:56

@Crossfitgirl not sure if you have a Fitbit/ similar but I noticed that my heart rate went down for two days when I ov'd, obviously if you don't track you HR then it won't help but thought worth mentioning as I didn't know x

Delilah7 · 29/08/2018 16:57

@sunshine1987 Friday babe xx

BabySquid · 29/08/2018 17:24

@Cat32tt that's interesting, I think I'll start monitoring mine (if this isn't my month). Do you think you'd have to chart it same as bbt? I personally would have thought so.

MrsC87 · 29/08/2018 17:36

Just catching up, Congratulations @purplestar9 that's fantastic news! 💕

purplestar9 · 29/08/2018 17:41

Thanks @MrsC87 😊

Lougg · 29/08/2018 17:52

Hope everyone's had a good day and not driving themselves too mad with symptom spotting!

I've not even ovulated yet and already planning what else I can add to my fertility arsenal next month 🙈. Has anyone used a microscope to look for saliva ferning?

I'm only on cycle 3, Christ knows what I'll be trying if I'm not preggers in a year's time!!

BabySquid · 29/08/2018 18:02

@Lougg I'd never even heard of saliva ferning!! I think that would be something to look into after that year mark haha. 🙈
We're all so bad aren't we!! I'm now thinking that my friends mum is a biomedical scientist and maybe I could give her my spit every day to look at 🙈🙈

MrsC87 · 29/08/2018 18:09

@Lougg I think we all feel the same, if only we could control getting pregnant. We've just got to stay positive!
Can I ask when do you normally ovulate, what cycle day? Are you using OPK's.
I'm on cycle day 12 and OPK's show no sign of a line.

Crossfitgirl · 29/08/2018 18:14

@chaosmoon I didn't know that about the 2 peaks, that certainly makes sense as I've not had a temp rise, and today my nipples are sensitive and I'm a little frisky again! Thanks for the info!
I'm a bit gutted it will mean ovulating on day 18 of a 26 day cycle again... so my tiny 8 day luteal phase is a worry. Ho hum!
And no sex tonight as I'm out at JT concert so will be back late! Ah welllllll!

@bettyhop I'll be thinking of you when you do your test. I'm glad it's a normal thing which means no worrying.

@alwaysinjods thanks - yeah I'm gonna go with the clear blue.
@cat32tt no I don't have a fitbit... I did have one but I lost it! Haha.
@babysquid yay for exercising! Your flo app looks great I wish I could have so much sex :-( lol xxx

@BabySquid haha you're probably right! Step away from Amazon! We should really go into the fertility aids business, it must be very lucrative! They're certainly taking a lot of my money recently.

@MrsC87 I usually ovulate CD14 currently on CD15 still flashing smilies on CB (6th day in a row) and just starting to get some darker lines on OPKs. Not nearly positive yet though. Also previous months my temp dropped way down before Ovulation and then back up again after. No happening at all this month. Just as I felt like I understood my body!

Crossfitgirl · 29/08/2018 18:16

@lougg nope never heard of it! I debated adding fertility lube to my collection of apps, OPKs, clear blue, thermometer, pregnancy tests and conception support tablets!!
But I decided it may tip DH over the edge 😂😂

Lougg · 29/08/2018 18:17

@Crossfitgirl haha I have some sitting in my drawer but I haven't dared show him yet!!

stormtrooperjulian · 29/08/2018 18:18

@Cat32tt I’ve just bought a Fitbit so I can try tracking my hr! I thought temping would be a struggle cos I wake up a lot in the night and sleep in at weekends. I read that resting hr reflects the same pattern so decided to give it a go.

Had to buy a new Fitbit cos my Jawbone has stopped working since the company went under Angry

Cat32tt · 29/08/2018 18:23

@BabySquid I suppose you could do, I just read it off my report thingy in the heart rate section. I know I ov'd on the 15th / 16th from the opks and it shows a dip of 2bpm in my resting heart rate on 15/16/17 before going up again. I don't think it could be considered an exact science but I have looked back at other months and it seems pretty consistent although I wasn't tracking ov

Cat32tt · 29/08/2018 18:25

Example of mines from this month xx

TTC first baby... mega thread!
Lov3Rosie · 29/08/2018 18:35

I'm tired and felt down this TTC journey... wish I could also join in the BFPs. Need some power up to uplift me. Maybe it's the hormones.. 😭😭

Lougg · 29/08/2018 18:35

@Lov3Rosie oh no! Sending positive vibes your way. What CD you on?

Delilah7 · 29/08/2018 18:38

@Lov3Rosie I feel you honey. Keep strong. ❤️
