Thank you @neverstopexploring :-)
@patapouf do what you think is right for you, even if you do need to lose some weight, you can still do that while ttc and even whilst pregnant right? It's good you are on board with being healthy!
@flapjackered good will power, keep us posted.

I was gonna stay away but...

Woke up this morning after a really vivid dream that I took 3 pregnancy tests and they were all super strong positive BFPs!

Woke up gutted it was a dream 😥😭

@neverstopexploring @cupcakesandglitter re: exercise, I do crossfit usually about 3 times a week and fully intend to carry on when pg, just modify anything that my body disagrees with.

I'm a physiotherapist so I know that it's safe, and it can definitely help with Labour - I also know 4 girls from my gym that have had babies and all had easy labours.

There is a lot of scaremongering that exercise is bad for you but I think it's only if you over-exercise to the point your cortisol levels are constantly high, which would take a looottt!

For me personally it's also my stress relief, which I think is more important for me than anything else whilst ttc.
Saying that I haven't been to the gym for 3 weeks now due to our house sale! Lol!

Sorry for random post just feel very passionately about keeping fit and how exercise is still so stigmatised in pregnancy - so many people use it as an excuse to be lazy, but also the fact people still judge people for doing any sort of movement or exercise when pregnant! I think it's great when people are trying to be the healthiest they can be, whether pregnant or not :-) and cos I'm a physio I'm obviously pro fitness haha.

Morning all. Sorry @daisies and @Flapjackered that you think the witch is on her way Sad

@Crossfitgirl hopefully it's a good omen!

How is everyone else feeling?

RanchoRelaxo · 27/08/2018 07:41

Bfn this morning, used an internet cheapy cause I didn't want to waste the frer so not too bothered, only confirmed what I thought anyway! So now either my luteal phase is getting longer, or I got my ovulation date wrong

CrystalBlaze · 27/08/2018 07:49

Morning @Rancho. Good news on the LP but you're still not out yet Smile

Crossfitgirl · 27/08/2018 07:51

@ranchorelaxo let's hope it's the LP getting longer xx

BambiOnIce80 · 27/08/2018 07:56

Good morning everyone 🌞

@RanchoRelaxo, hopefully it's the vit C helping lengthen your luteal phase 🤞 It might still be too early for a BFP to turn up...

Crossfitgirl · 27/08/2018 07:56

@crystalblaze hope so! Or maybe it's just because I'm so obsessed at the moment. Dtd last night, another flashy smiley on the OPK today, was kinda hoping I'd get the solid today so be ovulating tomorrow but if I ovulate on Wednesday then I'll be consistent at cd17 for 2 months in a row so still good.

@daisiesandpeonies well done on holding out, how many dpo are you?

RanchoRelaxo · 27/08/2018 08:08

CrystalBlaze Crossfitgirl Bambi I think lp getting longer is a fab result even if that's all that happens this month 😊
But.. I have just spent the last half hour googling and have found lots of people saying that ICS dont give positives till around 14dpo! And they got a line on a frer when there wasn't one on the ic 🙄 ah well will see what happens today!

NeverStopExploring · 27/08/2018 08:08

@Crossfitgirl I fully intend to excercise throughout as well as I was advised it can help labour. I just wish I had been a gym fanatic before ttc so my body would tolerate more but figure swimming is a good start and a simple gym routine! It’s reassuring to hear other people’s excercise routines. Thank you for encouraging me to post the info. I hesitated as didn’t want to come across as preachy as I am new to the thread (and even though it’s not my advice but nurses) Smile

CookieWaffle · 27/08/2018 08:11

@RanchoRelaxo I'm keeping my fingers crossed for you xx

Lov3Rosie · 27/08/2018 08:22

POAS this morning at 8dpo and.. it's BFN. Eeek! Still too early to test but I could not resist the urge. Patience.... ☺

CrystalBlaze · 27/08/2018 08:26

@Crossfitgirl @NeverStop I totally agree with you. Keeping up gym classes I did before as much as I possibly can and trying to do regular cardio, weights and swimming. Just get tired a bit more easily.

Crossfitgirl · 27/08/2018 08:46

That's great @crystalblaze :-)

I thought about taking up swimming instead of crossfit as it's more relaxing whilst ttc, but I just enjoy weights and feeling strong 💪

I do however feel that my ever distant dream of having a flat stomach is pointless now 😂

@lov3rosie 8dpo!! That would have been a miracle bfp 😂 stay strong and good luck for your next test! Hehe xxx

Lov3Rosie · 27/08/2018 08:51

@Crossfitgirl FRER says can test 6 days early so I took the plunge! 🤣🤣

sunshine1987 · 27/08/2018 08:53

8DPO today and the urge to wee on a stick of some sort is strong, had to wee quickly this morning to trick myself out of being allowed to pee on a test 😂

FlapJackered · 27/08/2018 08:59

@daisiesandpeonies I am so with you on wasting tests. Last cycle was so much less stressful when af just turned up, no tests necessary. Now I am determined next cycle that I am not going to test until 15dpo max which is generally 3 days after after af.

Lov3Rosie · 27/08/2018 09:00

DH has converted our small room as his "man-cave" slash his mini gym. He got weight stuffs, lifting your body stuffs (could pass for 50 shades 😅) and recently, looks like gymnastic stuffs he hanged up at the door (which he said was for planking). He also purchased boxing sets and put them up at the back of the house. I punched once in a while (not regular). I need to do something with my fitness after reading all the fitness routines that you posted here. I considered my 25-minute walk to work (and another back home) as my exercise, but DH thinks otherwise. 😄

strawberrye · 27/08/2018 09:00

Hi can I join?

My stats:
TTC #1
Age 27
Cycle 11/12
TTC since October 2017
Had 2x early MCs during this time at 5-6 weeks

Just coming towards the end of my 11th cycle TTC, AF today and a BFN on FRER so I'm counting myself as basically cycle 12 now. Oh how I did not imagine being in this position when we started trying!

Lov3Rosie · 27/08/2018 09:02

@sunshine1987 I'm 8dpo too and did POAS this morning. I should have thought of your trick 😂😂

sunshine1987 · 27/08/2018 09:11

@Lov3Rosie haha it's so hard isn't it! I've told myself I can't test until Saturday 🙈 I keep convincing myself this is the month but I did the same last month, tested, cried and then AF came the next day. The BFN was worse so trying to stay away x

purplestar9 · 27/08/2018 09:16

Good morning all! How are we today?
I'm currently 13 DPO. Woke up with some cramps again and it feels like my stomach muscles have been through a workout (they haven't!) no idea why!! AF due tomorrow so holding off testing till Wednesday!

Lov3Rosie · 27/08/2018 09:17

@sunshine1987 I know..., it's like wanting answers to all the symptoms we've been feeling. Shall we test together on Saturday? x

CrystalBlaze · 27/08/2018 09:18

@Crossfitgirl I think once you've found something you like doing you are so much more likely to keep it up! I know what you mean on the flat stomach as well. At least I'll have an excuse now Grin

sunshine1987 · 27/08/2018 09:19

@Lov3Rosie let's do that, we can help each other get through the week without weeing in a stick lol x
