Hi girls

First of all I want to say I know so many of you are going through the same problem and hope it works out for you all! For the past 3 years my partner and I have been trying for a baby with no luck. I have been for tests and doctors have said I have one blocked fallopian tube they then referred me on to another clinic today to discuss what to do next.

I just feel so stressed with the whole thing. I feel like everyone is moving on ahead of me and I am stuck behind. I always feel like I won't have a family at all. I would love to hear some of your stories and hopefully one day there will be light at the end it the tunnel xx

If you post on the infertility board you may find some more kindred spirits.
Everyone is different and everyone has different experiences but I can sympathise we started TTC in June 2013 and like most I thought by Christmas I'll be pregnant well Christmas that year came and went as did the next and the next. Doctors wouldn't entertain me due to my weight so I lost 5 stone and went back as still no BFP several tests later and the only thing found was a blocked tube so out that came but still no BFP. This year in June we had IVF our one funded round and I'm currently 10 weeks pregnant. My friends have all completed their families with DC at school but do you know what I couldn't care less they'll be valuable support having been there and done that and won't mind babysitting as their kids are older so it's easier Grin
I got there in the end and whilst I can't promise everything will be ok for you at several points I didn't think it would be for me and had a life without children plan B but yet here I am even if it did take 5 years. Good luck x

Hi love, sorry to hear about your journey so far I know how difficult and emotionally draining it can be. Me and hubby have been trying to conceive for the past 5 years, we went to the doctors, and to the fertility clinic, all tests were clear and everything is fine. We are however now starting our first round of IVF in the next coming weeks, frustrating to say the least but hopefully we will get there in the end.
I totally know what you mean by feeling left behind, all my friends and family fall pregnant with no issues, my sister stopped her pill and fell pregnant the same month! So, like you, I always feel like I won't have a family, but I think positivity is key and you just have to keep going for your future children!
Here if you need to chat, xxx
