Pregnancy symptoms but BFN, anyone else experienced the same?

Hi,

This is my first post here. I’ve had 2 previous MCs (the last one being 1.5 years ago). I finally feel ready to try again and this is my first month TTC.

I’m currently (approx) 9/10 dpo and by this point in my previous pregnancies I had very clear BFPs. I’ve been testing every day for the past few days and absolutely nothing, not even a faint line (used internet cheapies and clear blue early detection). I’ve been having so many pregnancy symptoms and I can’t work out if it’s all in my head.

About 3 dpo I had the weirdest shooting tingling pains all day in my boobs (it was so bad that I had to take paracetamol) and a strange pinching pain in my left lower abdo. Since then my boobs have felt heavy and sore. I usually get sore boobs in the run up to AF so I’ve discounted that symptom. About 6 dpo I had the worst sore throat/cold symptoms and I had this in both of my previous pregnancies. I’ve also felt knackered and for the past 2 days I’ve felt so unbelievably nauseous to the point where I’ve actually been worried about throwing up at work and have had to chew gum to try to and take my mind off it.

We’ve not told any of our friends or family that we’re TTC again and I feel like I’m starting to go a little bit crazy! My question is this... have any of you had really strong pregnancy symptoms and then had AF? I’m really hoping it’s not just wishful thinking!

Thanks so much Smile

Pregnant enough to cause symptoms would cause a positive test - not that you won't turn out to be pregnant, but these symptoms are unrelated.

It's very very average for it to take up to a year... patience.

Good luck.
