Imagining symptoms or possible this soon?

First month TTC and suspect I am letting it get away from me in my brain so grateful for a reality check. Period due this weekend and for about a week I have had really painful boobs (I usually get this before a period but only for a day or two, and less acutely) and today I also feel sick. But I have seen lots of threads / articles to say no symptoms are likely so early so interested in experiences. Did you get early symptoms? Or did you think you did but they came to nothing? I so want to buy an early test but I promised myself no testing until a period is actually late and probaly shouldn’t break that in month 1!

My boobs really hurt from about 3 minutes after getting pregnant. Well... at least a week before AF was due. Really sore all the way into my armpits.

I remember commenting yo DH that if I wasn't pregnant I was going to the Drs they hurt so much .

I had a really heightened sense of smell and sore boobs for a week before my period was due. I wouldn't bother testing until a lot closer to time though: a BFN won't give you any closure at this point and you might not see a BFP even with symptoms - I didn't get mine til 11dpo at least - so why torture yourself?

For the record, I'm now 12+4 and had a beautiful 12 week scan yesterday! Good luck!

Thank you both and congrats @ladycarlotta. I won’t test early, it’s a bad precedent to set plus if by a stroke of luck I am it will be nicer to find out at the weekend and have time together to process and enjoy the news.

I am also due this weekend and a few days ago thought I felt some symptoms, but think it was just coincidence. I felt nauseous two days and hot flashes. It would be my third pregnancy. My first I felt the implantation (lower back pain), my second I just felt tired the week before my period was due (but that could be bc of my 11 month old baby at the time lol) and a day or two ago I also felt the back pain that felt like my period was coming. It always happens the day before or day of I get my period, so a few days too early, which makes me wonder is it implantation? Only time will tell! I tested negative today...so will need to wait until the 25-28th! As my cycles have been 25-28 days (usually 25 days lately, but the odd 28 days). Good luck and keep us posted!
