Coming off the pill - cilest

Just wanting to find out other people's experiences.

I've recently come off of cilest.

How long did it take you to have a period? And how long did it take you to conceive?

I had periods from the month after the first bleed coming off cilest. I came off in October and fell pregnant in my January cycle (not trying but not being careful to avoid pregnancy)

I was on Cerelle and it took 4 months for my first AF. Cycles have been ranging between 33-42 days...
...but everyone is different! I hope they come back quickly for you x

I didn't stop long ago. Just feeling blotted and horrible.

@CatsOutTheCudboard We've been TTC 10 months.
Warning - when you come off the pill, you will get every pregnancy symptom under the sun and you'll swear blind you are preggo.

@LifeOfRiley63 I can totally understand that already, it's absolute madness. Everything smells weird. I feel very.. odd. I can see how people start symptom spotting

I was on cilest for 8 years, came off in December got pregnant straight away sadly lost that baby but cycles went back to normal instantly. Then had one more period and got pregnant again, sadly lost again. Cycles were slightly longer though. Good luck x

I came off cerelle 2nd week in July have had a period starting Sunday.I've read it can take a while for your periods to return.
Hoping to conceive baby no3

I’m about to come off microgynon & expect a ‘proper’ AF to turn up in about 6 weeks.
