How reliable are these tests in your ladies opinions?

Sandstormbrewing · 21/08/2018 17:52

For me they have been very reliable.

susso · 21/08/2018 17:54

They're not bad, just throw them away and don't look at them after the time frame has passed as they tend to get bad Evap lines which gives false hope sometimes x

JLG19 · 21/08/2018 17:56

Very reliable, got my BFP at 8DPO with DS. Will be using them again when TTC#2. I also ordered one pack and had 75 tests delivered ConfusedGrin

Delilah7 · 21/08/2018 18:04

Just wondering as has a miscarriage 1st August and trying again and defo feel pregnant. I'm 8dpo and it's not shown up for me yet x

OP posts:
susso · 21/08/2018 18:16

@Delilah7 don't worry, I wouldn't expect it to show up at 8dpo for me at least. Some ladies are really lucky and it shows up real early- you might be one, you might not. But for me, even though these tests are stated to be so sensitive I don't think they actually are, when I fell pregnant (pregnancy didn't progress) they didn't become positive for a while x

Delilah7 · 21/08/2018 18:21

@susso I have that feeling that for me they might not work. They could be negative for a reason but who knows! Xx

Sorry to hear of your loss, Delilah7. I hope you get a BFP soon with a healthy pregnancy to follow.

Delilah7 · 21/08/2018 18:42

@JLG19 thank you means a lot. Just means this cycle has been pretty up in the air for me haha x

OP posts:
Sandstormbrewing · 21/08/2018 18:59

It'd only show up on any test if it's implanted, which at 8dpo is 50/50 chance. Give it a few more days.

Delilah7 · 21/08/2018 19:05

@Sandstormbrewing I've defo experienced a tender tummy and some stabbing pains today but who knows!

@Delilah7 I didn't get a positive result which I could clearly see (without holding up to the light and squinting!) until about 5 days after I was getting positives on frer. Can you get a frer to try in a day or so?

Delilah7 · 22/08/2018 06:23

@Firsttimer16 they will be arriving tomorrow xx

OP posts:
Firsttimer16 · 22/08/2018 08:21

@Delilah7 great! Remember if it is positive it might be sooooo faint at first, but 2 days later you'll notice a lot stronger if it's progressing. Fingers crossed for you.

Delilah7 · 22/08/2018 08:23

@Firsttimer16 thanks Hun, I've got the metallic taste in my mouth like I had before! Had uncomfortable tummy this morning and nausea so....

JLG19 · 24/08/2018 16:25

Hi @Delilah7, did your tests arrive?

Delilah7 · 24/08/2018 18:33

@JLG19 they did but I used a digital two days ok and it said negative. So o guess maybe I'm not. But who knows as I'm probably messed up after my miscarriage xx

OP posts:
JLG19 · 24/08/2018 18:52

Sorry to hear that SadFlowers

Firsttimer16 · 24/08/2018 19:49

@Delilah7 remember that digital are a lot less sensitive than FRER though so you might not show on a digital for days after you get a positive with fmu on a frer. Maybe try one tomorrow morning?

Delilah7 · 24/08/2018 20:33

@Firsttimer16 think I'll do it Monday morning. OH will be asleep with a hangover so 😂😂😂
