Can anyone help I'm confused my last period date was 22 may 2018 so going by that I'm ment to be 12weeks and 6days today i had my scan on the 14th August which they said I was 13 weeks and 4 days so on the 14th they changed my due date to the 16th Feb instead off the 26th Feb which works out wrong dates when I conceived is the ultrasound scans correct as today going by the ultrasound I'm 14 weeks pregnant

Was the 22nd of may the first or last day of your period

As they take it from the first day of your last period, not sure of this helps or not.

The ultrasound dating can't be an exact science. Baby must be measuring bigger than average, but you would expect variations between women and babies.

I know someone who had IVF so knows the exact dates and their dating scan changed the due date by 4 days or so. It's just one of those standardised things I guess.

The due date they give you at the dating scan is the one they'll work to. Do you'll be overdue if you go past 26th Feb. Doesn't matter if it's 'wrong', it's what they'll use from now on.

Yeah it was

And thank you all I think because in the scan photo the baby looks long aka me been tall well hoping so as it's been so stressful as partner had doubted it's his baby because of the scan date stating 13 weeks and 3 days as we've only just recently got back together from a 4 year relationship off n on and on the 28th may which was the first night we had intercourse

I was moved forward a week with my DS at the 12 week scan. I know when I ovulated, but the scan rules!

My DD was moved forward 4 days.

It happens! Just look at it as winning a shorter pregnancy!
