I do see it. I had one that looked almost exactly like this last month, faint and off centre. It was a Sainsbury’s blue dye test.

Mine didn’t amount to anything. I had a negative FRER the following morning and then my period started. I did feel unwell and had 3 episodes of vomiting alongside my period which is unusual but unfortunately I don’t appear to be pregnant.

I really hope you get the result that you want. I’d try and do a pink dye test in the next day or two and distract yourself as much as possible. It’s so confusing and heartbreaking. Massive headfuck I know.

It looks like there have been a few people with this experience on the blue Sainsbury’s tests.

Fingers crossed it goes the way you want. You just don’t know at the moment. It could be.

@DianaBlythe oh no this is a sainsburys test this was last night when do you think would be best to test again? I had spotting for a couple of hours a few days ago and the worst headaches thats what prompted me to test so early

Do you know when you ovulated or when AF is due?

I’d probably test again in the morning. The best advice would be when AF is due but after seeing that I know I couldn’t hold off!

It might be something, I don’t want to be horribly negative, you really don’t know just now, I just wanted to be honest about what happened to me.

This was mine.

Here’s my faint positive on a sainsburys and frer. You definitely need to go get a frer now!!!

@Redrosebelle oh you've gave me some hope!! I thought evap lines were grey this is blue but i have just read loads of negative reviews on sainsburys first response needed i think

@Redrosebelle how far on are you?

OP posts:
glintandglide · 18/08/2018 12:01

Can you just do a clear blue early response? I don’t know why people do line based tests when they are so hard to
Understand!

saze4 · 18/08/2018 14:41

@DianaBlythe thoughts? Both still very light but lines are blue

Ooh two lines! Fingers very crossed! I hope that is a more positive sign. You are going to know more certainly in a day or two. It’s just so hard waiting. I have everything crossed for you.

Sandstormbrewing · 18/08/2018 17:31

glintandglide because the clear blue digitals are 4 times less sensitive than a first response and can't give a reliable negative until after your period is due.

glintandglide · 18/08/2018 17:39

You can test 5 days before your period with a clear blue early detection which is digital- just says pregnant not pregnant

saze4 · 18/08/2018 20:41

@Redrosebelle first response has came up negative ☹️ altho i never got the early detection one would that matter? Still another week for af

OP posts:
Sandstormbrewing · 18/08/2018 21:23

glintandglide yes, but the test has a sensitivity of 25miu/l and if you don't have that level of HCG in your system it will tell you you aren't pregnant. A frer has a sensitivity of 6miu/l so is much more sensitive and will give you a result earlier than a clear blue digital.

DianaBlythe · 19/08/2018 08:59

If it’s another week until AF then it’s just too early to know.

Even if you were pregnant this cycle at 7 days before your period 92.6% of people would have a negative test result.

I think as it’s so early you’d be best to stop wasting your money and just trying to distract yourself.

This might be useful to you

www.countdowntopregnancy.com/pregnancy-test/

It goes through when to test and what proportion of tests would be positive at each day of your cycle if you had fallen pregnant.

TheGirlWithGlassFeet · 19/08/2018 09:10

I would be very wary of Sainsburys tests. I had quite a few faint lines like that and I wasn't pregnant. Hopefully it will be good news for you though.

Redrosebelle · 19/08/2018 17:12

I was only 10dpo when I took that test, but very sick so assume I implanted early!
I used sainsburys for months and never got a hint of a line
Fx for you

saze4 · 20/08/2018 06:36

@Redrosebelle this one is a bit more clearer

Nickname1234567 · 20/08/2018 06:51

I do not trust those blue dye tests, mine looked the same as yours before and I wasn’t pregnant. Get a digital when your af is due is what I would suggest. Good luck

Gemsie1984 · 20/08/2018 07:04

Was today's pic from today? If so that looks definitely good

Redrosebelle · 20/08/2018 10:23

I’d say that’s positive
An you get a first response early result?

MATTSMAMMA · 20/08/2018 13:40

First response early result (not the rapid result) are much more reliable - try one of those

saze4 · 20/08/2018 13:51

@MATTSMAMMA i'll try the early result i tried the rapid one
