Hi
I just found out I'm pregnant. I have a lovely partner but we went through a rough patch about a month ago where I stayed with a friend for a week. During this time I went out with my friend and we ended up having sex later that night. This was the 26th of July.
Then on the 27th of July my partner came to the house, we decided to make up and move on. Nothing serious had happened between us we just decided to get some space to think about where our relationship was heading.
Anyway he had booked a weekend away so we went away on the 27th and we had sex multiple times throughout the weekend and have since then.
My friend that I slept with and I decided to put this behind us as we have been friends a long time and put it down to alcohol.
I took a clear blue test this morning 18/8 and it said 2-3 weeks pregnant.
My question is could my friend be the father?
My period stopped 23/24 July slept with my friend on the 26th and slept with my partner on the 27th and more times after that.
Thanks for your help.

It's probably more likely to be your partners unless you ovulated quite early. But really the dates are so close there's no way of knowing. Did you not use contraception with either?

Well stupidly no. The friend was a drunken thing and me and my partner have been trying since March when I removed my iud😥

There will be no way to determine this as the dates are very close together, even if you tracked your cycles and ovulation, it would be very hard to say

It'll be a case of genetic testing once the baby has arrived but as I'm sure you know, you need to be honest with your partner.
