Anyone else waiting to test and wanting to RIGHT NOW! :)

Every day I want to test, but obviously I do not as it is still too early (DTD on the 13th and 25 day cycle). I think I will take a test on the 20th, even though I am sure that is way too early even if I was pregnant! But that is my dp birthday, so if there is a chance the test would pick it up if I was pregnant, I think that would be a nice little surprise for him :)

I wake up in the morning and want to test, but I don't because I know that it would be too early. Why is it that the two week wait feels like forever....heck the one week wait feels like forever, because I have decided to start testing from one week on. Its for my third child and our first attempt...which is why I am feeling like the one week wait is forever!

Forgot to add that it was so faint for me my husband said it couldn’t be positive lol. The next day I got another test that was loud and clear a positive 😀 some tests pick up early and some don’t.

@Mamabear12 i think i'll buy the frer tomorrow hopefully the fast response one wasnt as sensitive fingers crossed!

I tested a week ago it was neg i tested again today and it was positive 😁😁

Crossing fingers for you and keep us updated! I’ve been more sensitive to smells lately and not feeling well again today. Last night I felt nauseous and now again this evening I’m starting to not feel well again. I feel it’s too early to have morning sickness and I’m not sure what it would be like as I didn’t have it my last two pregnancies. I’m praying that I’m better by tomo and if I’m pregnant this month that I have an easy pregnancy like my last two! I will test again in a few days (who am I kidding? Will test tomo again first thing! Lol).

Mamabear12 well my last cycle i was 3 week and 6 days late but af ended up coming, so was thinking the same thing this cycle but my peirods where regular before last cycle, So didnt know what day i was ovulating this cycle or when aunt flo was due i took so many tests last week and all were neg and my test is quite faint so i must of ovulated around 2 weeks ago . Im gonna get a clearblue that tells me how many week i should be x

I refrained from testing today and am going to do one first thing. Still a bit of browny discharge and tummy ache but no AF.

BFFN today! 😕 Still no AF and due today.
(.)(.) are very sore and swollen.
Cramps and spotting for 36 hours now.
Just hoping it's too early to detect anything! This time I'm going to be gutted if AF shows up. When I took an FRER last week and got BFN, I wasn't too disappointed as I'm going to Sri Lanka for 2.5 weeks in September, and didn't want to feel sick or tired, as love food and have lots of treks planned, but now I've convinced myself I am, and I'm going to be sad. Please don't come AF. 👹

@CraazyCatLady, crossing fingers for you! Sometimes it takes time for the tests to show positive. My friend had brown discharge around when her period was due for a week, but refrained from testing for another week and then finally did the test and got a positive...and now found out she is having twins! Another friend had spotting etc and then went on to have a baby boy. Its so frustrating though the wait and see, especially as sometimes the spotting does turn into a period.

I tested negative this morning, but still a few days away from my due date. I have been looking up early symptoms and another one I randomly experienced was hot flashes. This has happened around the time I started to feel nauseous. I thought it was weird, as we were driving in the car at night with windows open a few inches so now way I should have felt hot. When we got home I had to cool myself with cold water splashed on face and washcloth dipped in ice water (another coping mechanism of mine for if I feel nauseous). Yesterday I felt a little off in the evening for an hour or so...I skipped dinner, but then at 10:30pm, I was so hungry I had to make myself a piece of toast. This morning I am feeling good again. This waiting time is so interesting with the symptom spotting. Its like is this for real or is it in my head!?!?!!? Although, I know I definitely not the type to imagine the nausea for pregnancy, as I never experienced that in the past and knock wood, I am really hoping I do not experience that for this pregnancy. It scares me.

Anyone else getting symptoms one week prior to period arriving? What are they?

Just felt that lower back pain that feels like either implantation or period coming. I distinctly remember this same feeling I had previously for my first pregnancy and thought ah its my period coming. But a few days later in never came. And just now I felt it enough to think is it my period coming or implantation. Usually though for my period it happens the day before. Sorry if all my symptom spotting is becoming annoying 🙂 I just like to write about it and helps me keep track of when things happen.

I feel your pain! I'm only 6dpo and I want to test already! So glad I have some ic's to waste on my impatience 😂😂

@thejollytrolleydolly lol. I already used up my tests. I am not sure why I have tested more then once a day lol. And most of all I am not sure how I managed to wait one week after my period was late with my first one! And second one I managed to wait one day before my period was due...now no patience!

@Mamabear12 I can't believe you managed to wait that long! I don't know how some people just switch off and forget about it it seems to be on my mind all of the time!

It doesn't help that I can't fly whilst preggers so I would rather know ASAP! Lol

@thejollytrolleydolly the first pregnancy we weren’t really trying. I always followed my cycles as a way for contraception and one day I said “I think I’m fertile today, shall we see what happens if we do it on a fertile day with out pullingnout?” Lol. Then I forgot about it because I assumed it wouldn’t happen one and only try. Until my period didn’t show. And I think I was scared to test with out my partner bc I was abroad for a week. But even so I can’t beleive I managed!! I even had a four hour layover at the airport w pregnancy test in my bag and didn’t test!!! And an 8 hour flight!!! Lol. Oh have times changed! Now I’ve tested a few times in the last couple days 😳 need to stop!

@Mamabear12 I admire your self control! I would have definitely caved - although I must admit I like to test in the comfort of my own home (I'm a dipper!)

I'll probably do one tomorrow knowing full well it will say no but af is due in a week so I'll probably test every 3 days until then. I have a bunch of ic's so I'm only using 20p or so a pop!

I'm gutted, AF arrived at work late morning today. I couldn't believe it. Feel so unbelievably sad. Why do our bodies play tricks on us? I have never in my life had spotting before a period. I'm in full bloody flow now, so in no doubt it's AF!

@CraazyCatLady, I am sorry to hear that. It is frustrating when you want something and its really out of our control! But hopefully next cycle will be lucky for you.

As for me, I did a test this morning and negative. And now no symptoms. I felt fine all day yesterday...no hot flash, no nausea. My breasts feel a smidgen fuller....but hard to tell if its in my head or not. Ah well, I have decided I will not test anymore until the 25th, when I am actually due. But, my cycles can be up to 28 days. Would make it much easier if cycles were still 28 days! The day we dtd was the first day I had the EWCM so I am hoping that was before ovulation. But when I look online for a 25 day cycle the fertility calculator says day 12 I would have ovulated (we dtd on the 13th)....but I am hoping we were not too late as only saw EWCM on the 13,14, 15th. I assume the body would not make EWCM AFTER you ovulate!

I got a strong positive opk on 14th and ewcm arrived on 16th, so going by opk I'm 8dpo. Have used an IC for the last few days and all bfn so far. Gutted as my boobs are sore and I've loads of creamy milky white cm, but I usually get that before af.
Trying hard to talk myself down that I'm not as I really got my hopes up this week!

@LifeOfRiley63 welcome! What is opk? Is that ovulation day or something else? Sorry, Im new to this. Im trying to learn if the EWCM ever arrives after ovulation? Bc I have a 25 cycle mostly and online is says ovulation should be day 12, but my EWCM only showed up day 13, the day we dtd. So I am wondering if we did it on the right day or if it was too late!

@MamaBear12 OPK means Ovulation Predictor Kit (basically pee on a stick).

Sounds like you dtd at the right time If you had ewcm! Fingers crossed x

Hey! So I just wanted to ask; what does implantation pains feel like? TTC #2 and don't really know anything about testing etc as with DS we literally decided to TTC, DTD then was pregnant straight off. But seeing as I'm breastfeeding and had no periods I don't know what to look out for etc.

I've been having pains lower down for a while and had a really odd 'butterfly' sensation the other day for like 2 secs in a small part of my stomach but my body's been playing tricks on me for months (keep having phantom baby kicks) so I tend to ignore anything I feel.

FWIW I had what seemed to be period pains for 3 days 2 weeks ago so just assumed the was the beginning of the cycle I guess...

I never felt ovulation pains. But just went with egg white cervical mucus as a sign of being fertile.
