Feeling nervous - 62 day cycle - dr results

Sorry if this ends up massively long.

A bit of background... I came of microgynon in November 2017 and have been TTC since. For three months my periods were all over the place (body settling). Then feb, March, April and May I had perfect 30 day cycles. My last period on 16tj June was 8 days late with a neg test and I have had nothing since. That period was a normal af for me.

I’m now on cycle day 62, have never been this late before. Feel like my trousers are a bit tighter than before. And feel like bending over double (as in to pick something up) is uncomfortable. Had 2x negative tests as wanted to see if I had just skipped a cycle before going to the doctor.

Anyway I popped in to see him yesterday and he said to me that if the home tests are positive then that’s fine but if they are negative and a lady is still late then they don’t trust them at all. He asked me to pee in a pot this morning and said he will send it to the lab for testing (not just a dipstick). He then said if that’s negative he will send me for blood tests and further investigation.

I feel really fed up and really nervous about Monday when I should find out.

Hi OP, I’m in a similar position. I’m on Cd40 today not as long as you, you must be going out of your mind! I couldn’t take the not knowing for much longer so at my GP app yesterday blood was taken to be sent for testing. She said she would call me this evening with results. I’m literally sitting here waiting for my phone to ring with such an awful feeling in my tummy. If I were you I would keep yourself extra busy over the weekend and keep your mind occupied! Go rang at 5pm, heart in my throat I answer and she said the lab were delayed in getting my bloods because courier broke down! Of all the days it would have to be a Friday so now I have to sit tight until Monday! So now the two of us are in the same boat eagerly awaiting results that could change our lives! I’ve been so annoyed since that phone call, I’ve devoured a magnum & half a tub of pringles! pure comfort eating but anyway! Monday hopefully will come quickly for the both of us xx

@Rollerball oh no how frustrating!!! I can imagine how annoyed you are... comfort eat to your hearts content I’ve been out for dinner this evening and now feel really queasy...grr!! Lol!!

So... my result was negative and I can’t get another appointment to see the doctor until next week unless I ring on the day. Totally felt like I was being fobbed off. hope you’ve had better news than me x

I just had a 63 day cycle.
There were a couple of weeks where I could have sworn I were pregnant. Dizzy spells, nausea, aching breasts, moody! I took a test every week from cycle day 40. I was sure I was gonna get a positive! Me and my partner have a 7 year old son and we was having trying since he was 3 and a half years old. Today my time of the month came:( Time to restart again! I have seen Alot of women on these sites that get a very late positive. Baby dust to all!

I’m now on cycle day 86!! Blood test was also negative. Doctor is sending me for a trans-vaginal scan which I’m having this Wednesday to try and find out what’s happening. I’m really nervous xx

Hope the scan goes well! I had one of those a few months back as doctors thought I may of had PCOS. They didn't find anything and everything came back normal. So they couldn't understand why my period were a little all over the place and why it's taking us so long to conceive as I had no problem getting pregnant with my son it only took me 6 months! It's been 3 and a half years trying, it's so frustrating.

Thank you SH1148. Well I’m definitely not pregnant but let’s face it we knew that. They said in the room that one ovary is larger than the other but they haven’t said why. They just said that they couldn’t say anymore and would send the report to my doctor. And I can’t see him til at least Monday now so it’s a waiting game again!
