Conceiving after miscarriage

Sorry in advance this will be long winded ..

So, in 2016 I went onto the depo. I was on for around a year, and came off in October 2017 due to wanting to give my body a break. However my periods did not return. In May 2018 me and my partner decided that we wanted to try and conceive. However, my periods had still not returned. I looked into it and found that this is very common and read quite a lot about Angus castus. I started taking these at the start of May, and within two weeks my periods returned. I stopped taking them at this point and the next month my period was on time and lasted the same duration as my first period. I thought that my cycle had regulated, but then the next month I missed a period. I didn't over think it nor pay too much attention to it as we were moving at the time so it was a very stressful time and distracted me a lot. On July 13th I randomly took a pregnancy test, and it came back positive. I took about 47 more and every single one was positive. I was so happy. We went to see a midwife and she booked me in for a scan for two weeks time. One week passed and I started to find small amounts of old blood every time I went to the toilet. I read up about it and found that it was relatively normal so didn't panic. Two weeks passed and it stayed the same, didn't increase, nor darken. Then on the Thursday, I felt like I had to suddenly run to the toilet and there was a large puddle of old blood. I went straight to the emergency department and was checked over and told it wasn't an erotic pregnancy and was booked in for a scan the next day. When I was scanned everything was perfectly fine. Another week passed, and the blood turned fresh. As every day passed it got thicker, as did the clots. I was in agony and in hospital every day. On august 6th I was rescanned and everything was gone except the pregnancy tissues. I was heart broken. I have just stopped bleeding as I have now passed the rest of the tissue. I have started taking folic acid - seven seas trying for a baby but I was wondering if anyone had any other tips as I would like to get pregnant near enough straight away as there is a massive hole in my heart. I've taken a pregnancy test and it is negative so I have 100% passed the whole pregnancy now.

Sorry that this was so long.
Someone pleaseeeee give me some reassurance that I will be able to fall pregnant again soon

Hopefully you will, but it's a numbers' game... some people fall first month and some take years (like me). There isn't much rhyme or reason. Healthy diet, moderate exercise.

Ttc is not as straightforward as they say in the textbooks, unfortunately,

Sorry for your loss. Good luck.

I'm really sorry for your loss. Your post really spoke to me because I'm in a very similar position. I was very laid back about wanting a baby until I became pregnant by accident and had a missed miscarriage in june. I feel heartbroken by the whole experience and desperately want to conceive again. From researching online it seems like all you need to do is eat well, exercise, take folic acid and have sex every other day. I'm also trying to give up alcohol. I wish there was more I could say to help I think it just happens when it happens tbh but that's so difficult to accept when you're dealing with a loss I know. Good luck with everything xx
