My husband and i have been TTC for almost two years, with no luck. We've got an appt at the royal in glasgow in the next few weeks, but are also thinking of going private (for speed, mainly!). Wondered if any of you had any thoughts on:
- any of the private clinics in glasgow? any good or bad experiences?
- how long the wait is typically in glasgow on the NHS?
- whether you've ever succeeded in getting the NHS to share any test results with private clinics? We tried to get access to the results of various tests we've had, but the NHS won't give us them without us doing a formal data protection request and paying £10, which seems mad... Does anyone know any other way of dealing with this?! We don't even know the results of the semen test my husband had in May, so could have no chance of a natural conception for all we know...
