Hey, I've been ttc for 19 months now.

Both myself and my partner have had tests done. My tests were all good, partner's tests have been repeated due to an issue with sperm motility in the first test.

I'm now between 3-5 days late (all of my tracking apps have different dates for when AF was due to visit... anyone else have that happen?!) but don't know whether to test or not because we're waiting on the second test results for partner...

Any advice? I'm so tired of the disappointment every month and am just convinced AF will eventually show up eventually...

Test!!!

Do you track ovulation? And no, I don't mean do the apps 'tell you' when you should be ovulating.

Yeah, I use OPKs and we DTD in fertile week and on peak day (according to positive OPK). I use OPKs purely because all of the apps are so varied, and I want to know what's actually going on, not what's theoretically going on haha

I'll go buy a test today then! Will keep you posted

Did you ovulate late?? How many days past ov are you and how long is your luteal phase?

cookielove · 15/08/2018 17:07

How have you not tested 😮😮

MJHowe17 · 15/08/2018 17:37

I'm 17/18 dpo now (didn't record it on my app but know it was round about then because of it coinciding with end of term, but it was roughly then... (I'm a teacher)) and my luteal phase is usually around 13/14days.

I'm never normally this late, I've had the odd month where I've been a day or two late but this is really long cycle for me now.

I've only resisted testing because I'm away from home to be honest. It's been tough but I kind of want to test when DH is with me... also, since DH has been sent for more tests I figured there was such a slim chance that there was no point testing...

So I tested this morning (used fmu; Tesco own brand cheap test) and it was a BFN. So I'll give it a few days and see if af shows or not...

Always use an Frer! Tesco's are blue dye and rubbish! Also post a pic

MJHowe17 · 16/08/2018 18:00

I haven't managed to get to a shop that sells frer yet. Will try to get one in the next day or two and will post a picture then...

This is doing my head in, I'd rather know one way or the other now...
