Opks to test pregnancy.

Indulge me, no testing until tomorrow but I couldn't resist and had to poas!! Used an Opk- I don't really use them so can't tell if this is a positive opk or not and how exactly it would work for testing pregnancy.

Bonkers I know but I've taken a hpt and i think it's a bfn but something is catching my eye. It's so ridiculously faint though I think it's an Evap if anything. Has anyone got a positive opk when preg and how dark was it?

Hi, I believe ovulation tests do pick up HGC and they don't need to be as dark as the control line to be positive.

Once I knew I was pregnant I tested with an ovulation test that I had left over and got a result like yours.

They do work for pregnancy BUT lots of people have a hormone surge just before their period that an opk also picks up

Ah ok I didn't know that and af is due Thursday so we will see tomorrow I guess.

I peed on an OPK when pregnant and a line came up too. Fingers crossed for you !

Thank you @ReginaPhalange89 love the username! I thought a line came up on an opk regardless and it was just over how dark it was.

Anyway I've taken x2 tests this morning, a boots strip 25mui & a frer. I think again I can see a ridiculously faint line on the strip but frer looks like a bfn. I don't like them but had one to use. Not holding out much hope I'm not entirely sure but according to my app I'm around 14dpo with af due tomorrow so doesn't look good. Thanks all x
